Just catching up on the posts I missed while in Texas

Practice squad players can be taken by any team at anytime. Three things come into play.

1. The plyer has a right to refuse the offer from the other team and remain on his team's practice squad.
2. The player must receive the minimum NFL salary in full. That means he gets a $457,000 paycheck from the time he signs with the new team.
3. The player must be kept on the new team's 53 man roster for the remainder of the season and must be one of the 48 active players for the remainder of the season for every remaining game..

Well, I had high hopes for both, but especially Williams as he came from Vandy, more of an academic than athletic.
