I see Dilson Herrera has a "shoulder" problem that will prevent him from (ahem) the
WBC. We are told that the problem won't affect his hitting, which means he will DH the first couple of games while Price figures out how to make sure the guy has his priorities straight.

Herrera wasn't a September because of shoulder inflammation and it has been an ongoing problem for the past two seasons. It appears to be a problem that neither the Mets or the Reds have been able to diagnose.

Game time temperature in Arizona was annunced as 61 degrees. It's actually warmer in Cincinnati with a very nice 76 degrees.

And today it may snow in Cincinnati, And 61 degrees in Goodyear, which I think is still a little cool. But good for baseball

It's 28 here in NW Indiana and won't be up to 50 for a few more days, but we don't have any snow. Two years ago on this date, it was 0 and we had about 18 inches of old crap on the ground that was never going to melt.

75 in SW OH yesterday, today flurries. Go figure....maybe Al Gore was right about one thing.
