C.J. Anderson (torn meniscus) will be a full participant in the Broncos' offseason program.

Anderson went under the knife in late October. His recovery took a little longer than expected, but all that matters is that he's healthy now. Anderson is competing with Devontae Booker, and remains the favorite to get another shot at starting duties in 2017. It's not outside the realm of possibility that the Broncos draft another mid-round runner, though it is unlikely.

Fournette 'even in play' for Browns at No. 1

After talking with numerous "football people," CBS Sports' Jason La Canfora reports LSU RB Leonard Fournette is "even in play" for the Browns at No. 1 overall.

We're not buying it, but La Canfora says multiple executives and scouts types have brought up the possibility of Fournette going No. 1. The Browns' analytically-driven front office has many outside-the-box thinkers, but taking a running back with the top pick even seems like a stretch. It would be a stunner if the selection wasn't edge rusher Myles Garrett. Fournette's stock continues to rise with less than three weeks until draft day. He may be a top-five pick.

Boy wouldn't that be an interesting turn of events? I am not sure I buy it but that is pretty crazy.

I love how it mentions analytics as being outside the box but not that an analytically based FO would never take a RB with the first pick.

this one seems WAY more believable as an outsider looking in on the NFL draft process.

Looks like Mixon might have another skeleton in his closet

The allegation comes from Anthony Hernandez, who says for a "fact" that Mixon hit his daughter when the two were in high school. "He threw my daughter to the ground and hit her," Hernandez said. "I went to the school and they hid him in the office. He got no punishment. The police even came. I was escorted off the campus as if I did something wrong. These are simply the facts, he's a woman beater." Longtime personnel man Gil Brandt said this incident is of concern among NFL teams, in addition to the video of Mixon laying out a girl with a punch at Oklahoma. Mixon could be drafted anywhere from Day 2 to being an UDFA.

Doesn't look good, but it is a he said/ she said thing. If it happened and the dad was so incensed that he had to be escorted off campus, why weren't assault charges filled? On the other hand, now there's some evidence of a pattern and I'm much less inclined to give him the benefit of the doubt

A story recently bubbled to the surface where Hernandez said he knew "for a fact" that Mixon "threw" his daughter to the ground when the two were in high school together. Hernandez has now changed his course. "I have recently learned that a comment I made about Joe Mixon on social media a few years ago is now receiving a lot of attention. I want to explain that comment and clarify that I do not believe Joe ever did anything to hurt my daughter," Hernandez wrote. ... I reacted emotionally. Unfortunately, I did so before I had all the facts. ... I realize that I was mistaken about Joe’s involvement. I definitely overreacted, and I regret that my words might have given some people the wrong impression about Joe. I know that Joe did not hurt my daughter, did not intend to, and would not do so." It sounds like it was brought to light as a potential smear campaign to add on top of the video of Mixon hitting a female while he was at Oklahoma.

Well, it was an old social media post, not like a true account of anything.

Obviously this guy didn't even realize he was being quoted by anybody, some troll probably dug this up from Facebook to tank Mixon's draft stock
