Forgot about him. Coming within a kunt hair of winning a title with Butler puts you on that list.

Still no title, and not close (yet) in the NBA. Jury's still out but he has the potential to be the 2nd.

Has the potential but still needs to win something. Hasn't won a title at either level.

Doesn't winning at a title level doesn't means you're not a good coach. Not every coach can get lucky and get to coach a championship roster like Kerr, Spo, and others has been.

Stevens is easily a top 5 coach in the league. Would take him over both of those coaches I just mentioned.

Eh, I'm not holding no titles against him. At the end of his career, if he doesn't have a title of any kind (NBA or CBB(who knows if he goes back)), then we can make a fair judgement. He took Butler to back-to-back NCAA title appearances and lost to UConn and Duke. He lost arguably his best player within the first 5 minutes, and his team looks like the most balanced and efficient team in the East. He also has Kyrie Irving playing defense, which isn't something I thought I would ever see.

I agree, Burke wasn't hired for her stunning looks. Although, for being in her 50's, she's not bad looking. I just wouldn't flock to a store to buy her swimsuit addition if SI hired her on tomorrow.

But that's my argument for Brown, he DID win a title without a 'championship roster'. And got close with AI and the fuckaround gang. I agree Stevens is a top 3 coach today, better than Kerr and Spo, but I'm talking all time. He has the potential but a long way to go.

Again, potential vs a long career (Brown). Stevens will likely prove to be the 2nd coach to make the leap, let's see how it plays out.

Yeah I think this is his 5th year as a coach. If Hayward didn't go down, it would have been his first year where he had a roster capable of going to title game. They still may if Cleveland don't get their act together.

We'll see though
