I'm not sold on Kozma being around for sure next year. Ryan Jackson is playing really well at AAA and I've read that he's ready to play now and the Cards might find something else to do with Kozma. Kozma was big time clutch last year, but it's not guaranteeing him a spot forever.

Really good to see some good discussion in the Cardinals thread. Oh yeah, did anyone happen to watch the game last night?

It was too late for me, I can't watch the whole games when they're on the west coast. Hopefully we win the next two. I watched at the beginning and then read about it this morning

I was busy but got the cliffnotes on baseball tonight. Certainly not the best performance on our end

Are you a big Stan Musial fan? Do you have $ 2 mil just sitting arond? Then, if so, you can buy his house. It is located in Ladue, Mo, which I have never heard of. But, if it turns out to be a sleepy little bedroom coummunity town, then I would not be at all surprised.

Here is some info, which will lead you to the real listing, if interested.

Ladue is nice. One of the better suburbs to live in.

If I would've won the powerball I wouldve seriously considered it.

Nothing in Ladue is little, nothing.

Ladue = Old money suburb just west of downtown Clayton (St. Louis County seat) and about 7-8 miles west of downtown St. Louis. It's a really nice area if you can afford it!

The house is a bit dated (not unexpected, it was built in 1962), but it has great bones, and it's in a great location. For that kind of money, I'd rather live in Clayton (nice downtown area, just a bit closer to all of the things I enjoy in the city proper), but I wouldn't refuse a Ladue address.

Well said Arch City. I'll add onto that by saying that Clayton has the best public high school in the state.

It was on this date in 2006 that, swinging on the first pitch in his first major league at-bat, Adam Wainwright homers in the fifth inning of the Cardinals' 10-4 win over San Francisco at AT&T Park. The 24-year old right-hander also tosses three innings in relief to record his second career victory.

great comeback last night. I know it was just the Royals, but was still a nice win. Especially since Reds finally lost. Lynn pitched through some tough innings, limited the damage. Can't ask for much more than that.

Can't wait to see Wacha go for the 4game sweep tonight!!

Booger Boggs has completely lost any shred of confidence I had in him returning to last year's form.

I think it is about time that we send him back to triple A until Sept callups.
And yea, the offense left a few runs on the bases that would have helped, but everyone in the stadium groaned when they saw Boggs up in the BP. Matheny needs to forget what Boggs did last year, and focus on staying on top this year.

Rarely does the team that finishes with the best regular season record go on to win the WS, so maybe matheny is keeping Boggs on the roster to ensure that the Cards dont get the #1 seed in the playoffs. Not sure, but I could use a month or two of not seeing Boggs again.

Just now seeing that the game did not end until 3 a.m central last night. Did anyone go, and, did you stay through the whole ordeal?

went, but had important stuff at work today, so I left at the end of the 7th, once I saw that Wacha was done pitching. Wouldnt have stayed that late on a week night anyway though.
Really glad we left so I didnt have to watch Boggs suck some more this year. Ive been to about 10 games already this year, 2 of them blown saves by Boggs, the rest have been wins. Not a coincidence, Boggs is terrible this season.
