I wouldn't be surprised to see him turn it up a couple of notches from the level he has been at in the minors. Sometimes the veteran pitchers can't seem to get motivated pitching to minor league guys.

Understand this one too. Agree too.

But this is a guy who hasn't thrown to ML hitters in almost a year and a half. That's a really long time. So I was hoping to see a little more, maybe a lot, than what he's shown right now.

His upside is certainly higher than several options we're currently working with I think.

Deshields has been doing awesome lately, but that was a god awful time to strike out. If he just put the ball in play and it wasn't a pop up, we were going to get at least one run because of his speed.
