I am not sure Georgia would be the best. Dime became the rage in the Big 12 last year. DCs figured out they needed to get more versatile player out in space. DBs to match WRs. Only a couple teams in the Big 12 that were really capable of lining up and running the ball. I thought Georgia lacked a bit in the Secondary from what I saw. Their strength was in the front 7. I don't think Texas could have gone over to the SEC with that dime and been one of the best defenses. Lot more teams that are willing to line up with 2 TEs and that would destroy that dime look. It's one reason the a team like OU can take on Georgia and Bama and put up pts. Those defenses aren't built to stop 5 wide.

They most certainly would. I just saying you build a defense for the teams you face. It is why styles can make games. TCU is one of the early adopters of buckle base. Patterson has been doing it for over decade.

The fact that you offered the guy gives you a chance. Normally in state kids who are Poke fans don't get an offer because there isnt much of a point. But the guys who know and are telling the rest of us to be disappointed are saying dont worry about him going there.

He is playing it close to his vest though so maybe it's wishful thinking. He is a fan though so I think it's unlikely.

Rumor is Houston is ours. Good get for you guys on Major though-I am not a fan of Milwood kids heading south. That's the one high school in the state that we are in on.

In a nutshell this is why I love college football, and bowl games. The style of play changes so much from conference to conference.

If Missouri can be a top 10 offense while in the SEC, I don't see any reason why Oklahoma wouldn't have been a top 5 offense.
