I think Iggy has been preparing himself all season to guard LBJ again. After all the talk last year about how he looked like a former shell of himself it would be nice to see him accomplish this.

Didn't help that Iggy fucked up his back in game 6. I remember at certain points of that game he couldn't even jump for the rebound.

I'm not expecting a sweep either....but if it happens....

The ramifications on our little forum aside... that might actually be bad PR for Durant and the Dubs.

At least in the sense that it will make them more polarizing. Obviously the fans they already have on board would eat it up, but the neutral fans might turn on them a bit. The narrative all summer would be about how the Warriors assembled a super team that the best player in the world couldn't even touch.

Whereas if it goes 6 or 7, the focus will be more on the Warriors getting revenge and beating another great team. Who knows, maybe I'm overanalyzing it.

Doesn't matter anyway cause Cavs in 6

It's an interesting scenario indeed. If the Heat were to add Hayward and somehow have a solid roster and we were to somehow get past Cleveland (don't see this happening at least in year 1 anyway), I would quickly turn on the Warriors if the Heat were to somehow be set to play them in a Finals series.

Very true. They won by the skin of their teeth an even THAT series shouldn't have gone the distance if Warriors didn't lose Green for a game or Bogut wasn't injured ( I think Curry was hurt as well). .

Truth is, EVERYTHING had to fall in place just for the Cavs to beat the Warriors before Durant. Now the Cavs will have to pray for a complete miracle.

Now they are even far better offensively with Durant and even better defensively with Durant. Last year's team were 1-2 time champions Champions. This team is a Dynasty.. Big difference.

The Cavs haven't gotten any better. But the Warriors sure have

Ok sure the Cavs havent gotten better in the postseason...sure

LOL nice try.

If they were to sweep it would make LBJ seem like a prince rather than the King. Something I'm sure many would welcome with open arms.

I think most neutral fans would have no problem with seeing LBJ knocked down a peg or two. :D

I really don't think so. Just look at what the narrative of these playoffs has already become.

But we'll never know.

Cause... Cavs in 6 :D

From their lousy end of regular season LAZY play I guess they have.

But they haven't play a good team yet either. So we'll see. The jury is out on Cleveland

Then neither have the Warriors, because the Raptors were 2-0 against the Jazz this season and finished with the same exact record, they also would have been a 55-60 win team had Lowry not been injured constantly.

Please stop this bs rheotirc that the Jazz or some super power, it's stupid.

I agree it's stupid, however, the Jazz have played more games against the teams in their conference as did the Raps.
So, having said that maybe the Raps record has been padded just a bit considering more of their games were against teams in a weaker conference?
See, no matter what stats you use they don't help your argument because it's proven that the teams in the Eastern Conf faced lesser competition in their own conference. One the flip side, the teams in the West played more games against teams in their own conference, which was harder. The reg season records tell that story.

What? Jazz are a good team. They play as well as a team.. Tough at home. They move the ball well. . Not ISO goofballs like the Pacers/Raptors who have no ball movement. They are a tough at home. And still tougher than Raptors as a playoff team IMO. DEFINITELY TOUGHER than the Raptors without Lowry..

I dont think the Jazz are powerhouses as they are still a few pieces short from being a threat, but sure as hell tougher than the Pacers in the playoffs or Raptors without Lowry.

Jazz would take 2 games off the Cavs at least

I"m not reading any of that, because all of your posts thus far in any of the threads, have been absolutely terrible, and I'd rather not waste my time.

I've said it before. The teams are not far apart in terms of competition/talent.

I think the poster is gearing more towards that we can't rule Cleveland's struggles out just yet because they've faced subpar competition. We don't question the Warriors, because there was only a minor stretch where they struggled, and that was the week that Durant went down. They acclimated and started getting back on track. Whereas with Cleveland they were a hot mess from the all star break until the end of the season. Also, didn't help that their defense was still hot garbage against the Pacers. They did look significantly better against the Raptors though.

Ok.. Well when the Cavs get their Rear ends beat in the finals. Or have all kinds of problems against a QUALITY team for a change in the ECF, we'll revisit this.

Point is, Cavs haven't played a quality team yet. Beating on tomato cans (One team missing their 2nd best player) means NOTHING

I also hate this notion that they were supposed to run over the pacers/raps, even after their struggles.

The Raps are a solid team and the Pacers are a scrappy squad that have always give LeBron tons of trouble on any team he is on.

The Warriors have been the most impressive team in the playoffs so far, I have no problem saying that, I just don't like how all these Warriors/non Cavs fans are just trying to discredit the Cavs and the teams they've played, while simultaneously given tons of credit to the Warriors for beating similar teams.

Everyone expected the Warriors to run over Utah/Blazers, why is all the sudden some major accomplishment?

But once again, they have been extremely impressive, I'm not taking anything away from them, I just think instead of discrediting the Cavs, just give them credit and move on.

This is all just one big fucking circle jerk until June anyway, which @ChiefsLakers67 has often pointed out.

We're going to see round 3, and I hope both teams are 12-0 when we see it, would be cool.

Not reading this either, you suck, your posting style sucks, your basketball acumen sucks, everything about you absolutely sucks, I'm not going to put you on ignore because I'm not a hoe, but just let it be known that if you quote one of my posts, I'm not going to read what you have to say, because once again, you ABSOLUTELY SUCK.

Not sure how many people expected the Warriors to sweep EITHER team-much less both. Most predicted at least a win in each series, with some even giving Utah 2 games.
