If a QB want's to come in and get a starting position quick, then Oklahoma isn't going to be the place for most of those guys, well, the one's that are scared to compete anyway.

I disagree. Texas is set at qb for a few years (to be fair, we've heard that before). At RB they have Warren and Porter so it's tough to walk in and get significant carries there. WR maybe- they have Duverney but the talent drops after that.

Their problem is they haven't changed the Texas attitude. The program has been soft for 20 years and aside from Mack hitting lightning in a bottle a decade ago that hasn't changed. Strong tried but he hired friends who were shitty assistant coaches and it didn't work. Herman apparently is trying as well but looking at his social media posits I'm not sure if he understands what it takes.

We shall see I guess.
