No team ever in the history of the league had ever made it back to .500 after being 19 games under before this one did.

Yep we make the playoffs rather easily without that injury. IMO we get the 5th or 6th seed with Waiters. It is what it is. We dealt with so many injuries this season where we could deal with another significant injury.

its my opinion the Heat finished in the worst spot in the entire NBA. Not good to make the playoffs- not bad enough to get a good chance at a true franchise changer. Worked out well in my book. Im glad you feel the same.

Obviously id rather have my team win 20 games and come away with Lonzo Ball or Fultz or Jackson--- then miss the playoffs and have the worst slot in the lotto----but im sure the Heat will get a very solid 2nd/3rd tier prospect at 14.

Proud of my team. Sucks we won't make the playoffs. But like I said, a lot of my long term questions got answered.

1) Can Spo coach without an established bonafide all star on the team? Yes.
2) Will Whiteside be able to pull his own in an upgraded role and live up to his max deal? Yes.
3) Can the Heat be competitive while playing at a 25% handicap because of Bosh's contract? Yes.

It's ping pong balls. The Bulls when they got Rose had a 32-49 record compared to the Heat's 15-win season in the same year. Bulls got the number 1 pick, Heat got the number 2.

Jackson is not a franchise changer at all by any stretch. There is no Lebron James, Kevin Durant, or Russell Westbrook in this draft. We're fine

How would Winslow's offensive game maturate? Him being injured sets him back because he's rehabbing instead of training. Still young so he still has time to develop.

We're going to miss the playoffs because THIS team was injured during the first half of the sseason.
THIS team, together for 82 games would win more then the 51 your Cavs will win this year.

At first, I thought the Heat were out of their minds when they gave Tyler that contract not gonna lie, but that turned out a huge win.

We have enough offense to allow him to focus on defense.
Of course you want improvement, but it's nothing you need to rush or count on.

The Timberwolves have a chance next season. They have a great core of young talent. They should be set win LaVine comes back.

That Kris Dunn pick was a waste though.
