To be honest, the only thing stopping me from going full panic mode is LeBron.

He deserves some benefit of the doubt - at least in regards to his track record in the east conference.

That said, I really hope the Cavs understand that they aren't guaranteed anything. If they play like they've been playing this month, they wo'nt even see the ECF, let alone the Finals.

I love how Kevin Love matches up against hte Wiz too....thatll be a big series for Klove. I love how Kyrie matches up against the Heat. I love how LeBron matches up against anyone.

when you have a few days off and practice time--- and can get rest and preperation - its a whole new ball game.

The Cavs have been through all that and know how to prepare, know how to control their emotions, know how to overcome adversity.

These teams like Boston and the Wizards have practically no clue---- they will be learning on the fly.

Talent and playoff experience mean a lot in the playoffs- knowing how to prepare means a lot. The Cavs will have those advantages in a huge way over anyone in the East.

Is there anything that anyone can say/do that would give you the balls to bet the Cavs will win it ALL?
If not, then please stop with the hype, because CLEARLY you don't believe it.

that is what i think is the funniest part about it

they all love criticizing the Cavs- which i get- no one wants to see them win. They all want ot see the Cavs lose. But at the end of the day- they all know that as at least pertains to the East- it doesnt really matter.

ya never know though- i remember a while back when the Yanks were playing the Marlins in the world series - the Marlins got the first two games- and everyone was giving him sit--- and he said--- ANYONE WHO WANTS TO BET AGAINST THE YANKS- LET ME KNOW---- and it becamea s silent as the grave. Because everyone knew- the Yanks were prob more talented, and had been there- and even being down 2-0- betting on a Marlins team was really risky.

Of course the Marlins did win that series. So- hey- anything CAN happen--- its just not likely to happen. And everyone knows it.

mark my words- we will be hearing Chuck on TNT wondering how the fuck anyone in their right mind couldve picked any one other than the Cavs to come out of the EAst in a couple short months.

i mean- you hit the nail on the head right there---- that is their biggest obstacle--- entitlement and complacency

no one in the East can beat the Cavs when they are healthy besides the Cavs.

I trust that LeBron, and even Kyrie- will have the leadership to get them to where they need to be.

Don't be surprised if the Rockets make a Clippers sort of run and then run out of gas against either the Spurs or Warriors. Sorry Mecca, but after the 14-15 Clip beat the Spurs, then went up on the Rockets it was looking damn good.

at this point i think they need Kyrie healthy too.......and if Love isnt healthy- it would be a dog fight against the Wiz.....Love is a great matchup against the Wiz. the Cavs need Kyrie's scoring too- LeBron cant play like he did in the Finals 2 years ago and take 30+ shots a game.

LeBron by himself could dispatch anyone in the first round----- but against the Wiz- i think Love will be huge- and against Boston- Kyrie will match whatever IT is doing- at hte very least

The good thing is that you can add effort to defense and get better results. That isn't really the case with offense.

The other thing I'm counting on is that the NBA playoffs involve a lot of strategic, specific defensive game-planning, where as the regular season really doesn't.

yah- you are right. LeBron, Tristan, Shumpert, etc.---- the Monstarz, employed by Danny Ainge (the Monsstarz gave the right of first refusal to Mickey- but Mickey was to cheap to hire them) were hiding in the Cavs locker room and stole the Cavs talent. lol.

Now only Bugs Bunny, and Bill Murray can save the Cavs.

Tristan is one of the very few that is always giving full effort on D.

LeBron is definitely not giving full effort. He goes for stretches. In one-on-one situations he gets serious and when he sees an opporunity for a weakside block or steal he goes for it. But for every one of those plays, there's a play where he refuses to close out on an open shooter or get back after a missed shot.

Well in his defense you would have to give him good odds lol. The odds aren't exactly in their favor and they weren't at the beginning of the season as well.

There is something more going on though.
Heat fans saw the defense decline big time, season 4, and tried to act like it didn't matter.
It was denial.
Cavs D is much worse then Heats EVER was.
