It's called an opinion, bro. Notice the acronym "IMO"?
I agree that Rowling is not the best author in the world, but Snape is just one of like 100 characters she wrote for the books. Blind squirrels and such...C'mon now, you opened the door with that bit about 'the best ever written.' You can't act all affronted when people call you on that.
I read all the HP books with my then eight year old kid, but I wouldn't have touched them with a ten foot pole otherwise. As a wannabe writer, I admire the fuck out of Rowling for succeeding where no-one said she could, but she's not a 'great' author. She has however sold a shit ton of books. And become filthy rich. Good for her.
C'mon now, you know I was just fucking with you. You can't have "Calgary" in your location and then act all affronted when people make Tim Horton jokes.I'm as American as you bub.
I would argue that the entire point of the show is that crime is both sociological and moral. Its why Jesse Pinkman exists as a character. Pinkman is someone who Broke Bad long before Walt but never lost his morality. Walt is someone who was maybe never moral but was held up by society. Ultimately when Walt has to make real, tough moral decisions then he progressively because more 'Bad' while Pinkman fights being more 'Bad'No, but that he "Broke Bad" in the pilot episode.
I agree about Pinkman. He actually feels bad about the shit him and Walter doI would argue that the entire point of the show is that crime is both sociological and moral. Loves me some LLV. Cage is one of the weirdest actors to ever hit Hollywood, can rise to the script, or sink to it, spectacularly in either direction.
Was going more the route of those movies being aimed specifically at adults.
Yes, because we all know awards are the best objective measure of a movie's enjoyability...So, similar lofty critic accolades but without Nicholas Cage. Or awards.

Ah. I've never seen any of those. I just mentioned Cage's character from Leaving Las Vegas.
I think Omar brought National Treasure up because he's a talking cheesesteak sandwich with mayo.
