I didn't like Watchmen (2/5 stars), but I agree that JEH gave a great performance.

I agree that it wasn't a great movie (I probably rate it a bit higher than you, probably 2.5 to 3 /5 on your scale) but Jackie Earl Haley's character and performance made it worth a watch.

Hard to believe that it is the same guy that played so many sketchy youth in the 70s-80s (Bad News Bears, Mooch in Breaking Away, Damination Alley, Losin It, etc) disappeared for 20 years, and then came back with such a strong acting pedigree. Too bad for him the remake of A Nightmare on Elm Street sucked.
