12 point lead for the Kings at halftime, not good for the tanKings. At least Buddy and Skal are playing well.

that Pels pick is looking pretty nice....lol....
I'd be very happy if the Kings end up with 2 picks in the top 7 or 8, the Pelicans pick needs to stay out of the top 3 though.

I thought Kyrie was 'all that'???

I'm not getting stupid and saying the Cavs will lose in the East anytime soon, but there aren't that many LeBrons.
With the new crazy salaries, and even crazier incentives for players to stay where they are, maybe the wave of the future is going to be what the Heat have now?
I love having a solid group of players on the court for the entire 48.
It gives you some leeway if someone does get hurt.

Imagine how bad the Cavs would be without James, or the Thunder without Westbrook.
i doubt it. The NBA has always been about high end talent.

You can win some regular season games with a hockey-like line change approach with a bunch of guys working hard- especially in the dog days of the season--- but in the playoffs when there is ample rest, and tightened rotations and the stars start playing more on defense- it is a lot different game. Itll always be a star-talent driven league at the top and less about system.

in this draft coming away with 2 top 10 picks would give you some nice building blcoks for the future

you just gotta pick the rgith guys for once. a lot easier said then done....as i said- even guys taken in the top 5 only make at least one all star team about 35% of the time. however in this draft thatll prob be higher....

i hope Vlade makes some good picks....if you get one of the PGs you should be thrilled- that would be cool for the Kings. Get a wing and point guard to add to a decent contingent of bigs....

No Steph, Dray, Klay, or Iggy.

If they hadn't had to play 48 stressful minutes only to lose by one after yet another missed open look from Curry, they might have something left in the tank. But I like the move.

Plenty more games to play to get the 1 seed. And the Ws rested with a healthy KD is still the favorites in the West even as a 2 seed.

Buddy, Skal, WCS, and even Malachi look like good building blocks already. If they get a PG and SF to go with those first 3, that's a good starting 5 for the future. And they have their own pick in 2018 which should be high. I'm excited about the future of the Kings, but like you said they still need to make the right choices in the draft.

i agree- PG and SF....if two similar players at each position are on the board- take the SF- a lot easier to find a PG that has big time potential then it is to find a SF with all star potential. the league is overflowing with pg's---an elite SF is a game changer.

There are 4 PG's I'd be happy if they got(Fultz, Ball, Smith, and Ntilikina) but the first 2 they have very little chance to get. For SF's, I'm hoping for Isaac or Tatum.

i like Malik Monk a lot --- but it seems he would be kind of redundant with hield....

Jackson would be amazing- but he will be gone....fultz and ball will prob be gone too- but ya never know- its possible.

man- if the Lakers are able to add Fultz, Ball or Jackson- any of those 3 would automatically become the highest ceiling player on their team since a young andrew bynum.

Tatum has been amazing lately. He's going to be a top 5 pick.

As much as I dislike Russell, he has a good ceiling along with Ingram. Just takes time to see how high it is. Monk is a talented scorer, but they need more of a true PG. I'd be happy with one of those 3(Jackson, Fultz, Ball) but they are probably 1-3.

im justsaying - if you are top 3- regardless of position- i think you are taking fultz, ball, jackson- prob in that order...boston def doesnt need a pg with thomas and rozier but i think they take one--- either fultz or ball- just becuase they are elite level prospects- lakers dont need one with russell- but russell has the size (if not the athletic ability) to move to the 2- or they could just trade him.

Despite the Kings playing well tonight, they still have a good chance for a top 5 pick. Need the Magic or Suns(or both) to pass them.

Fultz is the clear cut #1 imo, and yes those look like the top 3. Better to have too many talented players at one position than none at all.

Yeah no doubt. I have yet to see a mock that did not have a Fultz going #1. I actually don't recall seeing a mock without Fultz, Ball, and Jackson.

Would the Lakers still take Ball though if they get the 2nd pick with Russell already there? I think Jackson would be the best way to go unless they don't think Russell is their PG of the future.

Daily Bogdanovic update. 15 points tonight even though he is struggling from 3. What I like most about Bogdanovic is he's not just a specialist. He find other ways to score when the 3 ball is not dropping.
