They went 116-125 before they got Gasol, didn't make it the first year without Shaq, got knocked out in first round the next two years.

And who was on the Cavs before LeBron and Love got there? They had a shit ton of scrubs, just like they did before LeBron left.
And my point was THEY WERE THERE with Smush Parker & Kwame Brown. SMH.

Because LeBron is the best player in the world, and love/Smith are injured, so without LeBron, Kyrie is surrounded by quite a few scrubs.
I agree, but Kyrie can't pull off more than 4 wins over the course of 3 seasons without LBJ????

You don't know what I'm talking about? Bogut hadn't won anything- not even personal accolades in his career to that point. Had been traded a couple of times due to his injury. Barnes, Green & Thompson weren't franchise players in ANYONE'S eyes. Igg was the only one who had a resume in this league besides Bogut and he didn't even come over as a starter. So let's not act like GS went out and got all top tier guys. They have gown together as a team & Curry developed into their team leader.
You forgot Klay, who has been one of the best shooters in the league since he first stepped foot on the court, once again, he's never shot under 40% from 3, even his rookie year, and has averaged more than 16 ppg since his second year in the league.

Curry didn't become an elite player, or their leader until his 1st MVP year, which was only 2 years ago, and it only lasted 2 years, because Durant is now the best player on the team.

Idk, because I didn't look into whether Kyrie was sitting those games as well, I know this year he's sat almost every game LeBron has.

Well, I'd honestly rather be a top 3 lotto team than an 8 seed in the West, being an 8 seed is basically like not even making the playoffs, you literally have 0 chance, especially in the West.

But yea, I guess you're right, and Kobe is a top 15 ATG player, and by himself all he could do is get to the first round.

Which only adds to my point- that NONE of them were franchise players when them came together. So you saying they've ALWAYS had great players just isn't true. They all had to develop because they actually didn't start winning & getting to the playoffs until Mark took over as coach.

Also, Curry developed into the leader when they shipped out Monta.

Well I can tell you he played in most of those games....but you're free to look them up if you'd like.

All I meant was that they are a great team, they'd still be a good team even without Curry, they have a very solid foundation. Curry/Thompson both eventually turned into stars, but even when they weren't stars yet and Curry was injury prone, they still had a solid squad.

They're a great team NOW. But my point was they weren't always great. So when you say Kyrie had crap for team mates & Steph had great guys that's inaccurate given the time frame we're talking about.

I wonder what Steph's stat line would look like if he played with LBJ

So if lebron was out for a finals rematch between GS and the cavs, but kyrie and love were in, what would the result be?

4-0 to GS

Cavs have played GS twice

Once without Kyrie and love and it went 6

2nd with kyrie and love and they won in 7

GS would have no championships if love and Irving played.

Well, you kind of get the answer to that since he's playing with Durant lol

His #'s are worse with durant so i am not sure why it would be any better with lebron.
