Kony Ealy had a really good game. I was rooting for Carolina in the end there just so he could get a shot at MVP.

Von Miller had a stellar playoff run this year. Should be seen as a JJ Watt, Richard Sherman type of influence

Yeah, the guy has lost 35 games so far in his career. You would think he would learn to be able to take it on the chin at some point.

Even in defeat, he had an opportunity in that post game to show some growth and stick it to some of his detractors, and he totally pissed down his leg.

Great point... In fact he did the opposite and pretty much met everyone's expectations of his... The very thing they've been ripping on him for up to this point... He had a great chance to diffuse the criticism... In turn, he ignited it instead...

I'm drunk but I'm droning in winging's. I can't believe in the magnitude of the fat stacks that I conquered.

I put this one on the coaching staff of Carolina. You have the MVP of the league and you send him out with a short leash in the Super Bowl? Let the players win the game Rivera! Broncos won fair and square and are deserved champs but that Carolina offense looked restrained and over-coached the entire game.

Short leash? Why are you always wanting to blame someone/something? How bout blame Cam as well for not executing very well? Why not blame him for not knowing how to throw a touch pass? Instead, he throws a 95 mph fastball every throw... Why not blame him for not throwing his body into that pile to recover the ball he just dropped?

And the Broncos defense for not giving him the opportunity? There is a reason why Miller was mvp, and Ware probably came in 2nd.

You want to blame Cam, so apparently it's ok to blame someone. He was out there, and he made the plays, so he obviously deserves a lot of the blame. But that was a very restrained performance by the Panthers offense. It's the fucking Super Bowl. Go for the throat.

Do people realize Peyton Manning sucked too? Threw an INT, had a FF. Broncos had 12 straight failed 3rd downs!!! Super Bowl record. Cam got absolutely no help on offense and had to do everything himself. Dropped back over 45 times, ran the ball 6 times, had to deal with his receivers dropping key passes (one that led to an INT at the 10 or so yard line and another that would have put them inside of the 10), got blindsided a few times including the fumble for a TD when the RT got manhandled. Not to mention the kicker left 3 points on the board and the punt team let the Broncos returner go free to get them in the red zone for another 3 points. Between Ted Ginn, Gano, and the dude who decided not to tackle Norwood that lead to at the very least a 9 point swing.
Yes, Cam made some big mistakes like holding on to the ball too long, overthrowing his receivers a few times and fumbling the ball but I don't think he lost the Panthers the game at all.

Yes. So what? He's sucked all year. Second in the league in INTs while missing 7 games. All the while, Cam is reining MVP. You'da thunk he could have outplayed ol' man Peyt, but it was not so.

Denver D won this game plain and simple. The Denver offense was pathetic. Less than 200 yards of offense. Denver would not have scored a TD in this game if it weren't for this great D. It's kind of a shame that they couldn't give the MVP to the entire defense.

Proof positive that you could win a Super Bowl with a bad QB (if Dilfer, Flacco, and Eli weren't enough proof). I'm feeling very positive as a Niner fan right now.

Congrats to Denver. Must feel great after what happened in Super Bowl 48 and after it looked like there was no way this team could win a Super Bowl with Peyton this year.
