Grant Cohn has always been a tool. He got rolled by Kelly in his press conference with an idiotic question, so he's all butthurt.

He makes points only from a negative slant, and then asserts them as fact. Why would Vrabel interview in the first place, believing it would be a career suicide move?

'Oohhh no Chippy is going full throttle with his offense....I didn't know he was like this.'

A logical explanation is that the Texans felt very highly about him, and offered him a wink-wink/handshake deal that he'll make more in Houston eventually as the DC after his visit in SF. Is that how it went down? Who knows....but guaranteed it's a far more plausible explanation. There are several Bay area 'reporters' like Cohn senior and jr., and Tim Kawakami whose reputations are laughable to anyone who has read their opinions.

The Niners deserve to be ripped for their handling of Harbaugh/hiring of Tomsula....no hiding from that. However, the little Cohn got his ass kicked in the press conference by Kelly, so I'll guarantee this won't be his last hit piece.

Stange coming from a Seattle fan. People said the same about Pete. He isn't a NFL head coach. he sucked in the NFL. I remember when Seattle named him the coach everyone wad making fun of seattle. It turned out ok for you guys. So that is the hope I have to have. The 1 positive Chip did better then Pete his 1st go around so maybe he can build on that.

I think Chip has learned. I think he still wants to play fast but smart. I think we will see a different chip. Just my opinion. He knows this might be his last shot in the NFL. As a 49er fan this is what we hope for. A lot of top people in the NFL has said he is smart and is a good coach. Now that he isn't the GM maybe he can just worry about coaching. again Im not saying he will be good or great. I can just hope. Im just happy we don't have Tomsula as coach.

Caroll did win a playoff game in his first go around. So he did at least show that his philosophy isn't completely worthless when the level of competition steps up.

and chip won 10 games 2 times and won a division title. So same can be said about chip. In his 1st year he took a 4-12 team and went 10-6 and won the division. impressive. Only 2nd head coach to ever do that in the East.
