I wonder if we heard the teams first offer it would be something like 5 years for $45M, only 2 years and $8M guaranteed. Something equally absurd, but not "leaked".

Wouldn't surprise me. Usually these negotiations start so far apart it doesn't look like there is anyway they could see eye to eye. Heck we had that last year with Russell Wilson where it was rumored he wanted over $25 million and that the team was thinking more in the $16-18 million range. Obviously they eventually found common ground.

Call me crazy but that's not absurd to me. That's exactly how much I'll give Sam Badford

17 mil a year would be more like it, if that

The 20th highest paid QB in the NFL right now makes $12.5 million a year. So below average QB's are still making huge money. The price of business has just gone way up in the NFL especially for the QB position where even being below average on the field gets you paid big time.

I guess his agent figures that the free agents for the qb position are really weak and is taking advantage of it. It's either that or he just doesn't want to play anymore which could actually be plausible since he considered retiring before being traded to the Eagles.

So do all the people claiming that Sanchez wasn't an option want to reconsider?
I'm confused as to how this relates to Sanchez sucking:scratch:

This is what he reportedly asked for--in preseason, when he was lighting it up and the Eagles made a desperate push to lock him up. He was probably dumb not to do a big deal then. There are rumors that he doesn't like Philly though and he may just be trying to break out of the city.

Not gonna lie, I would love for Foles back, I think Pederson can make him a good starter...

They should bring someone in to make Doug Pederson a good coach

I would like to see Foles back. Isn't he a free agent?

The press conference and description of the last KC drive, has me happy to have Mr Pederson in the NFC East
You know what's even funnier? Pederson mentioned in his press conference that he was calling all of the offensive plays for the Chiefs in the second half from the Pittsburgh game on. But ask any Chiefs fan and they'll tell you that the offense would have great first halves, build a nice lead, then come out and stink it up in the second half. So basically Pederson took credit for the offense sucking.
