This looks pretty bad and also pretty stupid. I honestly don't think the deflating the balls is really all that much of a story in itself. Where the problem comes in, is how they got deflated. The refs check the balls 2 hours before gametime. Assuming they properly checked them that would mean someone actively bypassed league rules.
