Throw BS stats against the wall and hope they stick. But you can't compare apples to oranges. Opponents account for those stats and u can't just roll in and say ohio st is a top 4 offense.

Maybe even more interestingly in their 6 games vs top 35 defenses OSU scored 39 ppg, this compares to Bama which averaged 21 ppg in their 4 games vs top 35 D's... To go one step further OSU averaged 40. 6 ppg vs TOP 15 defenses!! Bama scored 18.5 vs the TOP 15 defenses they played. Thats a pretty staggering gap.

You seem to be pulling numbers i cant find. Bama played 5 top 35 defenses on the year and averaged 31 points per in those games. As well as averaging 405 yards per game in those same contests.

tOSU played 5 top 35 defenses as well and averaged 40.4 points per game and 432 yards per game.

All my stats came from two places CBS and NCAA.com football stats.

I did not compare the offenses that each defense played, but I can. Reality says that if tOSU cannot run and has to rely on the pass and Bama can sit back and let its base 4 stop the possible run attempts and tee off on the pass, its gonna be a long day for their offense. Meanwhile on the opposite side of the ball we will have Cooper who has been described as a man among boys many times this year, plus the QB Sims who is elusive like a RB, but can hit pinpoint passes while on the run out of the pocket. We also have Yeldon and Henry and a host of other backs to spell them when they need a rest. I wont go into Deandrew White or Cam Sims, or the other receivers that can be almost as elusive as Cooper and can catch the ball very well also.

This game is gonna come down to two factors, can tOSU run the ball at all and can they sustain long drives and score TD's instead of field goals. If they cant do either of those and Cardale has to pass the ball alot under pressure, then its gonna be a long day.

Its gonna be a good game by two of the best teams this year, but obviously my money is on Bama in this game due to the X-factor, Nick Saban and 30 days to prepare with a possible title game on the line.
