Just like when you all said I was crazy last year when I said that the game had passed BB. You all shit over me until the continuing mess continued in 2023. Of course, none of you admitted you were wrong.

I'm telling you right now, Elliot Wolfe is not Ron Wolfe. Stop trying to make him into his father. Are you your father?

If Wolfe wants to really prove he has any of his dad's DNA, he should do the following:

1. Sign Donavan Smith, Tyron Smith or DJ Humphries and then draft a solid LT to learn the game under him.
2. Make every effort to sign Mike Williams, KJ Osborn or Tyler Boyd. Best if he could sign two.
3. Sign Stephon Gilmore or Xaverian Howard (Might be too expensive)
4. Re-sign Kyle Dugger.

Now they have a solid LT who can mentor whoever they draft. They would have a couple of second tier WRs who can catch the ball and mentor anyone they draft. Having Gilmore across from Christian Gonzalez would help him become even better than he was and provide a solid CB. Finally, resign Dugger to a longer contract and keep him doing what he does into his thirties.

Allin all, this might cost almost $40M, but with a solid draft, this team will be entertaining and competitive. It would also keep the seats filled in Gillette and when the seats are full, the snack revenues go up and jersey and hat sales go up.

You don’t see how your hatred of Bill Belichick has now shifted to hatred of Wolfe and Mayo, do you?

I’m starting to think the only person you’d be satisfied with running the Pats is you. I mean, all that peewee experience clearly qualifies you.

Why don’t you apply for the Pats GM position and show the world how it’s done.

I have said this again and again. Ken is a fare weather fan. Yeah he may have been a fan since 1960 but that does not mean he isn't now or hasn't been a fare weather fan.

You're the one who has all of the knowledge and has declared me the hater of everything and everyone.

I DON'T hate anyone.

I express my opinion of what I believe is obvious and what I believe would be an action of common sense to help make this team move in the right direction. Unlike many of you, I did not believe that Bill Belichick had some kind of eternal gift that made him a football god. Without Tom Brady to lean on and attract other players, BB couldn't do squat. If Belichick was so magnanimous, why didn't any other team throw $30M at his feet and beg him to coach their team??

In my opinion, Elliot Wolfe is trying to preserve his place and position. He's taken an ultra-conservative approach and we, as fans, are watching player after player go elsewhere. Both free agents and trades. Again, in my opinion, if you're going to throw $22M at Ridley, then I think he should offer a 2nd or 3rd to Cincinnati or Minnesota but have a contract with Tee Higgins or Justin Jefferson in hand and pay them $25M -$30M a year and have a premier WR for the next QB. Doing that would be equal or better than drafting an unknown. But no, lets stash that money for 2025 and light a candle. I don't expect anyone to agree with me.

Taking Wolfe's approach so far, is just re-signing everything that was already in place and they finished last with them. Next year, it will take all of the cap space to resign the guys leaving. If this group doesn't have an EXCELLENT draft, this team will remain exactly the same and we will be doing this repeatedly. In 2027, This group will all be fired and we'll be talking about exactly the same thing.

That's your opinion and I can live with it. You don't like what I say and never have and I can live with that.
What I can't live with is repeatedly doing the same thing over and over and over and expecting a different result.
If you can't change with the changes, then get the fuck out or suffer the consequences.

Whether or not you see yourself this way makes no difference, but you come off as a spoiled Pats fan that feels as if the only way to win back your loyalty is to do things the way you think they should be done. You honestly, perhaps inadvertently do come off like that. Wolfe is retaining players he see's as contributors. We will have to see how he works the draft, but I would not expect to see this team near the top for two maybe three years.
Thank you. Ken is always negative this time of year and prone to it any month. It is hard to read his shtick when he gets like this.

I will survive. I’m not going to get negative and look forward to seeing our growth as the new Patriots

Don't get me wrong, I enjoy your posts and contributions here. But maybe it's simply the way you word it that comes off as hating on management.

Regardless, I don't agree about them simply resigning players from a last place team as their "approach". They are resigning the nucleus of the team that were contributing and they're letting the dead wood walk.

I believe they know this is going to be a multi year build and they are building a strong core to work around.

I don't believe that everything is just hunky-dory and that everything is going to fall into place and in three years all will be grand again. It takes work, some gambling and shit ton of luck to be competitive. I know I complain a whole hell of a lot more than most of you. I also give a reason that I'm complaining and it hits a nerve on a few.

I generally complain about things that happen and the team just watches and doesn't participate. Like Keenan Allen going to the bears for a 4th round pick and the Patriots even asking about him when they were talking with the Chargers earlier in the week. The Chargers are keeping Williams and Mack, but are considering dumping Bosa. He's making $17M, but having him on the other side of Judon would be incredible. It certainly would hurt to ask and give up the Mac Jones 6th rounder. Or not checking with Marquis Brown before he signed for cheeseburger and fries with the Chiefs. (3/$24M) WTF is Wolfe doing???

1. You do not have any idea at all what conversations about what players take place, none us here do.

2. So you get Bosa for one year at 17mil and when his contract comes up? Did you just dump 17 mil on a guy for one year that will not take you over the top and cannot retain.

3. Mac Jones was probably a 5th at the very best, that would be our starting point not the other team. Personally I hope Mac wins a starting job somewhere comes back and kicks the Pats ass. He owe's them that.

4. Again how are you so sure they did not inquire about Brown. And yeah Brown taking the Chiefs over the Pats what the fuck was he thinking?

4/$92M $50M guaranteed.

Warmer than Foxboro, no state income tax. Patriots would had to offer $100M+ and build a domed stadium.
Don't bring up the taxes.

Reb has already decided it's a non factor for football players.
