No chance he could win the job in MN, Washington, Denver or others if they had interest?

But, hell, wouldn't surprise me at all if he's rather be with his family from mincamp season through training camp.
Maybe Denver would be a viable destination with a shot at starting, but Washington will be taking a QB at #2 overall and they just signed Mariota. And considering what Vikings are paying Darnold, I'd be surprised if they wanted to spend as much or more on Flacco.

Still, you've got a good point--he might just want to avoid having to go through training camp.

Forgot about Mariota in Washington. scratch them. If he wants starter money you could probably scratch most or all teams. If he'd be willing to compete for 3-4 mil with incentives that might open up doors.

Whoa....was kinda hoping the Bears would be interested in signing him. But at $30mil per year? Tanks, but no tanks.
That's what happens when you have 16.5 sacks. He has been great for years than Burns gets overpaid $30M/yr and the best want that or more.

Can't argue with the numbers, nor am I saying he's not worth it by today's standards. But that's an awful lot to pay for a guy who's about to hit the wrong side of 30. I'd hope if my team would even negotiate, it would be for a shorter length.

Hunter and Anderson should make an excellent pass rushing tandem for the Texans. They’ve really become a solid team
