Rams rumored to be interested in claiming mayfield. Not sure if thats good or bad for them.
Good for us because as it seems right now - he's not a very good NFL QB...Rams rumored to be interested in claiming mayfield. Not sure if thats good or bad for them.
They need a QB next year.....Rams rumored to be interested in claiming mayfield. Not sure if thats good or bad for them.
But we need them to beat the broncosGood for us because as it seems right now - he's not a very good NFL QB...
Espn has our chances much higher. It all hinges on the broncos rams matchup.

Good news for wilson, his trade is no longer the worst one in sports history.
biden just traded a russian arms dealer for a wnba player.
I was trying to be funnyI know people keep saying that Russell's was the worst trade ever, but I still have to think it was the Herschel Walker deal.
My question about Jalen Carter is how he is supposed to be this great player in the trenches but who does he compare to? I wouldn't say Aaron Donald because that man is probably the best DT to ever play the game. Is a guy that "plays well against the run" averaging 4 sacks a season worth being drafted top 5?
I still think it goesI've seen Quinnen Williams' name pop up quite a bit in comparison
In hindsight would I spend a top 3 on Quinnen Williams today? Yes. He's been a major reason the Jets D is so good.
In hindsight would people trade up to the #1 overall and give up our 2nd 1st for a guaranteed Aaron Donald? Yes. And agree with you Donald may be the best DT of all time (not often when a DT literally wins you the Super Bowl since Ramsey's overrated/spent ass fell down).. few analysts are going to compare any draft pick to Aaron Donald... And Aaron wasn't even a top 10 pick.
I think I'd rather have Anderson and Stroud over Carter, but if Carter is there at #3 or #4, you take him. I see a big dropoff of talent after Anderson/Stroud/Carter. So if we're drafting #4 and those three are gone, I'd try to trade down. Only thing I could stand at #4 is drafting a QB and that would need to be Schneider's decision because it seems like the guy has been very high on quarterbacks that have turned out elite or on a HOF trajectory.
Seattle needs EDGE, QB (potentially) and DT help. If we're drafting top 3, the best talent at all those positions is available and the talent available is far and away better than anything (at least at the time of the draft... but it's all you can go on) after that. There's no DT near as good as Carter, I think the other QBs projected to go in the 1st are well below Stroud, and there's no EDGE on the same level as Anderson.
Yeah that pisses me off... Especially since we've had a POW Marine there for 4 years now...Good news for wilson, his trade is no longer the worst one in sports history.

I still think it goes
1. Young
2. Stroud
If we are sitting at 3 its very likely some team wants levis and we can drop a few spots. Maybe the lions want to jump up two spots and will give up their second rounder?
Id be totally happy taking the best DL at 3, but there could be a great opportunity to drop one or two spots and collect another high pick.
1. YoungI mean hey if you could drop to 5 which means the Lions wants Levis and are scared of Carolina taking him, which means either Carter/Anderson are sitting there at #5 and we collect their 42nd overall, yes please.
I wouldn't even be surprised if Young/Stroud are gone if Carolina is willing to negotiate with us to move up one spot for Levis so Detroit doesn't. Although Detroit heavily needs defense. Their offense has been pretty good this year and even Jared Goof has been solid and he's still 28. I really don't want to trade down and not collect Anderson/Carter if he's there at 3... unless some team gives us a kings ransom for Levis because they're scared Carolina will take him.
My philosophy is Carter, Anderson and Stroud are there... you pull the trigger on one of em'. And someone else can please take Young... guy has been sacked 60+ times in College with Alabama's ridiculous talent... and he's 195 lbs soaking wet... only a matter of time before that guy gets injured with how much he's taking hits.
If we resign Smith (which likely means we're passing on QB at least early on) we're not going to be drafting a top 5 talent anytime soon - especially with how shitty the NFC West has become... Carter/Anderson have high potential (and I say potential because that's all you can go off) to be dominant franchise players at arguably the 2nd - DL/EDGE rush (argument is left tackle which we don't need) most important positions in the league. I of course see potential in other guys in this draft, but not to the degree of Carter/Anderson/Stroud.
1. Young
2. Stroud
3. Seahawks
4. lions
5. Panthers
In this scenario, if the panthers want a QB and fear the lions will take one, we can still get carter or Anderson and another 2nd. That would be ideal I think.
