We are taking one quarterback aside from McMillian and all Lefty loves all three of these guys pretty much the same. Don't star gaze. Watch some film and look at offer lists on these three. Very very good.

I didnt know if we were taking 1 or 2 of what we had left out there. I wasnt star gazing as much as wondering if say cornwell decided he wanted to go to VT after Rudolph gave a verbal to us and figured he could beat out the lesser rated recruit. If Leoffler wants these guys, then that is good enough for me to get any of them.

"Virginia Tech will take the first one in the boat and call it a day."

I think all these guys are pretty good. It's easy to get caught up counting stars, but I have to trust that these coaches know what they're doing, and each of these quarterbacks are getting multiple top notch offers.

If you look at Rudolph's offers, you can tell he's pretty good as judged by a lot of coaches.

I'm not good enough at really breaking down the difference between these 3 QBs... But which one (take the whole we will get a good one either way out of it) would be the most likely to have the biggest impact on our program? Whether that means helping us the most with recruiting other big names, or that's most likely to start right away, or win the Heisman, take us to championship, etc?

I know it's a tough question, but I feel like we could end up getting screwed here either way.

Matt,

I think they all are about even in what they bring.

I would prefer the two guys in SC when it comes to recruiting though because they both come from football rich areas and I would much rather get ins in South Carolina than Oklahoma.

It's a win-win ... Cornwell is the biggest and most polished passer with good enough wheels ... Park can move and throw on the run but is smaller .. The closest of the three to being a true dual threat .. Rudolph is like a perfect in between and just as good in most ways

A UVA guy just told me that Andrew Brown is related to BOTH Corwin Cutler and Eli Harold. Is that really true? If so, he really must have everyone down there in his ear telling him to go to UVA. HOWEVA, i'm happy to see that we're one of the 5 schools he plans to officially visit (Virginia Tech, Ohio State, Florida State, Florida and Clemson). Hoping he decides to do his own thing and pick the good guys.

Well I would bet that by the time he gets to UVA, neither will be there. I know he is related to Cutler but I'm not sure about Harold.

I think Harold, Thorougood, and Marcus Davis are all cousins. Hadn't heard anything about them being related to Cutler.

Alright the crystal ball on 247 just changed from 67% to 100% for Rudolph. Assuming his decision leaked looks like we're getting him.

Interesting article on Brown...Andrew Brown Talks College Choices | Recruit757

“(I’m down to) Virginia Tech, Clemson, Ohio State, Florida, Florida State, and I’m in and out about UNC, UVA, and Alabama,” Brown plainly stated.

So we surprisingly didn't make Jalyn Holmes' list, but did make Andrew Brown's list. I'll take it. :peace:

Honestly maybe we were overestimating how much of an UVA lean he was to begin with.
