my theory -- one of two things happened:

a) vt simply jumped in too late in the game ... that being said though ... i can't think of ANY reason why a kid three hours down the road would choose okey lite over VT (and that's not being a homer).

b) more likely the scenario and if you read between the lines that the 247 insiders are writing ... one of the other two are already locked up (probably park) and rudolph got turned away at the last minute??

Well, the most obvious reason is the system that they run. Ok State runs an Air raid offense which is exactly what Rudolph's high school runs. So there would literally be no transition in terms of offensive system.
I get that there are a lot of reasons one would think to choose VT over Ok State, but since you said ANY reason, just thought I'd point out this.
