They’ve been the worst in the league since Harbaugh left but we are talking about now, not then. This team seems different from the ones who always found a way to lose

After 5 shitty years, it takes more than 3 games to earn respect in the teams ability.
If the Bengals were 3-0, would you think they are great? The Bills are having a similar issue. They are 4-1, but not many believe in them yet.

Take care of the Browns in San Fran and you'll get the coverage, although much of the coverage would be about the Browns losing.
My Colts are seeing a similar thing. Went into KC and beat the mighty Chiefs, and most of the talk today is how the Chiefs lost the game, not how the Colts dominated the lines on both sides of the ball.

It's a big test for both the Browns and 49ers tonight. Agreed on respect factor from this game.

Colts possibly with biggest win so far this season. It puts their year in an entirely different light as clearly they can beat anyone.

Love the throwback attack with the ground game

I love people hating on the niners.... especially you douchenozzle GB and Seattle and KC fans..

Fact is..

49ers are 4th in total offense.
49ers are 2nd in total rushing yards per game
49ers are 3rd in Total defense
49ers are 5th in defensive rushing yards allowed

they are top five in 4 of 6 major statistical categories.

They may not be world beaters yet, but they are killing it so far. They didn't win a single road game last year. Opened the season winning two in the eastern time zone.

Keep pretending you aren't scared....

The Niners are being hated bc a Niner fan makes a thread about being disrespected...what do you expect.

And from the public view, they are just waiting for them to play a good team. Beat the Browns and they will be talking about the Niners, guarantee that. They are a solid team, gonna be a tough game.

I'm rooting for you and your Browns. Should be a good game.
Colts fans expected to be going into the bye week 2-3, but now get it at 3-2.

I think CLE gains a lot more respect tonight with a win on the road than SF does winning a home game vs a .500 team. IND DEF looked awesome last night, and I agree to date, it might be the biggest win of the young season.

Is KC on the East Coast yet?
How much global warming would you need for that?

Ok fine, you now have my espect. You can earn the r by beating a team with a winning record. That means a team with an above .500 record. Fair enough?

The 49ers played excellent, mistake-free, 1970's football against an overrated 'Dream Team'...and they completely dominated them. Congratulations to the 49ers.

It doesn't disguise issues concerning the 49ers passing offense. Give Garoppolo a 6-foot space all around him and time and he's as good as any QB in the NFL. When he doesn't have space and time his mechanics look erratic and his decision-making is poor. The O-Line's pass-blocking is suspect and outside of the star TE their receivers are not good. Shanahan has been masterful with his playcalling and use of formations. His smoke and mirrors approach to hiding his team's offensive flaws has gotten the best out of the limited talent at his disposal.

I'm not convinced it will hold up against the Rams or the Seahawks. At some point they'll be 10+points behind in the 2nd half of a game. That's when we'll see what they really are.

I love that that you disrespect the Niners. They made you look like a fool here! I'm the only one who saw how good they are.

We will struggle offensively against the Rams next week because Juczsyk is injured and he is the key to the running attack. Our O Line played brilliantly especially in the run. Never heard Myles Garrett's name mentioned after the first quarter. Probably do the same to Donald.
Seattle is good but the Rams are severely over-rated. All three teams could beat each other though.

You got thrashed by the best team in the NFC. Nothing to be ashamed of.

No. You can only beat the teams on your schedule.

Fine, it might not be fair enough for you, but those are the rules I'm playing. Just like you can only play the teams on your schedule. Good luck

Is someone taking letters off of the Post title? Seems like there are a few typos, just saying.

Outside of the QB Juszczyk is the highest paid player the 49ers have at the offensive skill positions. FB is not a position that wins football games, and that's why most non-49ers fans will be skeptical about the 49ers this season.

He is critical to the running game; absolutely imperative. Did you see the drop off in the running game after he went out? I agree though that they need an upgrade at receiver. No one who is not a 49er fan can name one of them.
