Watched the show "Get Up" on ESPN This morning and for the entire two hours not a peep about the team with the best record in football.
After starting off with the usual knob gobbling of Patick Mahomes and the Chiefs, gushing about how he is the greatest QB in history we moved on to the obligatory stuff about Dallas playing great football and having an unstoppable offense and the usual "Dak must get paid" nonsense after beating a team that is tanking. Then we moved on to the Patriots and the brilliance of Tom Brady and Bill Bellichick after beating a team that is using its third string QB. We then heard all about the Rams beating the "mighty" Browns in Cleveland and how they are Super Bowl bound afte barely squeeking out this one. We moved on to the same old nonsense about Green Bay being 3 and oh despite odhes and the new head coach not being on the same page but so good that they win anyway. finally we then even heard about how the 3 and oh Bills are undefeated and are "for real"

Every 3 and oh team and even some 2 and 1 teams like the Saints, but not a peep about the 49ers in the entire two hours. Ridiculous. The surprise team of the year and we can't find a single thing to say about them?

Jimmy INT G and the 49ers offense turning it over 5 times against a team they know who's only chance is their defense annihilating them is kinda worthy of disrespect, tbh.

The 49ers have played the Bengals, Bucs, and Steelers. Only the Steelers D might be any good and they got their shit kicked in.

They thoroughly dominated the Steelers defense; ran through them like shit through a goose. Without the silliness of the turnovers that's a 37 -7 game. They annihilated the Bengals on the road and got a little fortunate against the Bucs but any win back east is a good one. When they don't play well they still find a way to win when they do play well, well you saw what happened in Cincinnati.

Agreed. And I wonder how they can be that ignorant.

You don't get to say you dominated anything when you turned it over 5 times. Sorry, not how it works. It was an ugly win for you guys. That's it. The opposite of a time to post this thread.

Of course it is. They ran up and down the field on these guys. Spotted 'em 5 turnovers and still won. They blasted Pittsburgh right off the line of scrimmage. Without three fumbles inside the ten and two lucky bounces that resulted in INTs this is a 37-7 game at a minimum. I've never seen a Pittsburgh team so thoroughly dominated.

The Steelers could easily be a bottom 3-5 offense this year with Rudolph. Of course y'all won with a defense with a pulse; which is probably more threadworthy than your offense atm, if we're keeping this honest.

Yep. They love to knob gobble Mahomes. They were all on their knees.
I should have put it in green... They do like Mahomes, but the national media doesn't really care about KC sports

This Pittsburgh team sucks. You thrashed a shitty Bengals team, too.

The season is young. Keep winning and you'll get your media hype. IMO you're better off without it. Take Dallas. Playing great so far even though against lesser opponents, but a 3 point favorite @ NO with 4 starters (18%) for the Cowboys out??? I get no Brees, but that looks like a week 4 head scratcher if you ask me. Saints will likely only lose one or two games at home all year and with this spread they can lose and still cover. At least we will have a better idea of who Dallas is a week from now. This is a game I'm looking forward to and using as a barometer for how good we are.

I watched a decent chunk of the game and they looked like complete dog shit yesterday. You really want the national media highlighting that?

What does it matter what the media says about them anyway?

The defense looks great. The offense has promise, but needs to take better care of the ball. The picks yesterday weren’t Jimmy’s fault, but the whole offense should be a little ashamed of that performance. They damn near gave away a game they should have won walking away. They need to clean that up to be worthy of any real hype. The good news is neither the Rams nor the Seahags have looked much better.

That's true, but when your defense gives you two lucky picks inside the opponent's 20 yard line you have to do better than two three and outs followed by two FGs. There is no team with a combination of running and passing attack like the 49ers. They make mistakes but are clearly worthy of a mention on ESPN. Can you name me another team in recent memory that has won a game with 5 turnovers?

Ok, the Chiefs passing O by itself is vastly better than any combination the 49ers are offering.

Big whoop. Homer thread is homerific
