I said the Saints beat the Texans. I was talking about the teams I would put ahead of the Niners in the NFC. There are a handful. This will be the Niners biggest test by far...not saying the Browns are playing great but their defense is even with an injured secondary. Should be a fun game.

I think it will be very close. It will come down to which team makes a critical mistake. The 49ers of the past would always be that team but I would not be surprised to see it be the Browns this time. This 49er team seems different.

49ers are 4th in total offense.
49ers are 2nd in total rushing yards per game
49ers are 3rd in Total defense
49ers are 5th in defensive rushing yards allowed

they are top five in 4 of 6 major statistical categories.

They may not be world beaters yet, but they are killing it so far. They didn't win a single road game last year. Opened the season winning two in the eastern time zone.
