What situation are we talking about here? Because if we're talking about Grant Perry -- he grabbed a women's butt in line, he didn't beat anyone. He resisted arrest, which he pleaded down to just accepting that charge and got probation. I don't think it's unreasonable to give a player like that a second chance. It's an entirely different set of circumstances than what Urban did regarding Smith. For one, it's an 18 year old player vs. a coach, secondly; everything was out in the open.

Dude - it was assault and battery. Grabbing a woman's butt in line isn't going to garner that. Also, you think he pleaded down to felony? He was lucky as hell to ONLY get that, as they agreed to dropping two additional charges of criminal sexual conduct. Listen to you acting like this is just some tiny little thing. You don't get those sort of charges from just grabbing a butt. No, it's not different than what Urban did. Urban kept Smith on, and Harbaugh is keeping Perry on. Only difference is that you have no idea what happened with Zach Smith whereas we know Perry was flatout guilty.

I'll admit, it's 2nd hand information, but the guy has been spot on about several other things (Urban having his meeting with Gene Smith, Urban actually reporting the incident in 2015) before they hit the media or Twittersphere. He also told me last Thursday to watch for talk of a suspension for Urban to come out rather than him being fired, and about 10 hours later, it was being leaked out to the media.

Do you have any proof of Smith inflicting the supposed injuries on her? Do you have proof that the text message was actually from Smith and not just her texting with a friend who she labeled as "Zach" in her phone?

At this point, EVERYTHING is allegations. Every single thing. What I do know, however, is that in Ohio it's an automatic 24 hour jail stay when police are called on a DV situation and the accuser has even the slightest hint of being abused. How were the cops called 66 times in 90 days by Courtney Smith while Zach was allegedly repeatedly beating her and yet he wasn't detained a single time?
