But, they could have given him 4/60 and didn't because they didn't want to pay the tax.

They lost him for 5 mil total, which is why I have no sympathy for them.

They could have paid him his 60 mil and still not fall victim to the luxury tax for almost a year and a half.

i think the Htunder are gonna be really good this year though- ithink they will be #3 in the West solidly. A year of continuity should help a ton. roberson has really established himself. They just brought in Noel to probly come off the bench.

I think OKC could be really good this year.

It will defintely depend on his health and his minutes. He surely won't play enough or get the touches to post 25-12, but the numbers don't really matter. It is all about the threat. In the past, the Warrior 5 could almost be left unguarded. Now, they have a legit threat who can shoot and who they can even throw the ball to in the post to get buckets from time to time.

It only makes the game easier for everybody else, that is assuming Cousins gets back to the point where he is healthy enough to play quality minutes. Also, Cousins is probably the best passing center in the NBA.

I believe LBJ called him the best big in the game today.

OKC was hampered by the extension that they gave to Kendrick Perkins, right? Or could OKC have still retained Harden even with the Perkins extension?

I believe it was the extension to Ibaka that did them in. But, they could've still paid Harden- they chose not to & watched him become the franchise player in Houston we see today.

Well it's going to be a process and nobody knows what that is going to look like. this could look like Walton on the Celtics. Obviously he wants to play but #1 is going to be getting healed up and both sides seem to be on the same page there. But if he is 100% going into the playoffs then they have no excuse losing a game. That squad could probably sweep the east all stars.
