Well, perhaps in the sense that the Warriors are possibly the best team ever assembled. But it's always been top heavy.
I guess you're okay with that.

Nature of the game. No way to really change it and I doubt the NBA would change it if they could.

Change to a hard cap and the same thing happens. Change to no cap and the same thing happens.

BTW, I absolutely love Cousins trying to get some pity by claiming that no other team offered him a deal.

Sorry, Boogie, but no one is buying that nonsense except the blindest of Warrior homers.

Next year is going to be a rehab year and no team was going to throw max money at you. So it makes sense for you to take a cap friendly deal with the Warriors. Especially when you consider that they are probably the ONLY team top flight team that would have been willing to burn their MLE on a roll of the dice. But there were plenty of other teams that likely would have given you more than that and you know it.

The flip side of this is that I finally know what it feels like to be a Laker fan. I understand why most of you guys are douchebags about your winning history. I'm a pretty non-trollish kind of person but I want to come on here and slander everyone. Good times.

@trojanfan12

Can you immediately erase any negative Warrior posts made by @Montalban for the next year? Don't think those will be received too well.

How long do you guys think before he comes on and talks about what a bad move this is for team chemistry and cohesiveness?

I think he already said he didn't like the fit in another thread.

Here's my take on this.

Everybody is going 'Damn they got Boogie, the 25/12 player'

But he isn't going to be scoring 25 ppg and 12 rpg on the Warriors with 4 All-Stars around him. Even if he wasn't coming off a significant injury.

12 and 8 might be more realistic. And as far as i'm concerned plenty of bigs can do that.

If he returns to form.

Cousins at 70% is better than any center the Warriors have had during their current run. Only one really arguable might be Bogut, but that was purely from a defensive standpoint. From what Cousins can bring on offense, it's not close though.

Agreed...but 70% might be pushing it...a big coming off an ACL. He's too good for such an offer, but to hear him say it, that's all he got was the GS offer.

Rich get richer for sure, but I'm not 100% he will be a major factor...fit'em for the '19 ring if he is.
