Been busy for a while, but good game between the Lakers and Heat. Congrats with the win @bksballer89 @TurnUpTheHeat @Heatles84

Best bit of officiating i've seen all year is when they changed the shot-clock from 0.5 seconds to 24 seconds in the Heats favor with less than a minute to go.

Pretty much the total opposite then the first matchup when Lakers couldn’t miss.

Really starting to think Hassan Whiteside is soft and a big pussy.

A little minor hip injury that he didn't even hurt during a game has caused him to miss his 5th game as he will miss the game tomorrow night. Every little injury and this dude is out nearly two weeks at minimum

Meanwhile, Steven Adams had the same exact injury and only missed a game.

Is it his call or is he not medically cleared?

I don't think it is as much playing to his talent as it is about using him in the proper role.

Young is a streaky scorer who can really fill it up when things are going well, but he gives you literally nothing else. That is why he can't be relied on for a greater role. When he isn't hitting, you don't want him on the court.

Agree about using him in a proper role. My point about playing to his talent is about his consistency. He has enough talent that if he actually put in some serious work, he could be more consistent and be a really good player.

Maybe not a star level player, but he could definitely be a solid starting 2 guard. But he's a knucklehead, a lovable one, but still a knucklehead.

LOL
They have the 3RD MOST WINS IN THE PLAYOFFS IN THE LAST 3 SEASONS

And? You post this like it's some kind of accomplishment.

The have the 3rd most playoff wins playing in the East.

2014-15 playoffs: 1st round - lost to Washington 0-4

2015-16 playoffs: 1st round - beat Indy 4-3
2nd round - beat Miami 4-3
ECF - lost to Cleveland 2-4

2016-17 playoffs: 1st round - beat Milwaukee 4-2
2nd round - lost to Cleveland 0-4

In the last 3 seasons, they are 14-16 in the playoffs, they have won 3 playoff series and been swept twice.

Tell us again why anyone should believe this year will be different.

Does Paul George need the ball? I think they mesh pretty well together. I get your point, but if anyone watching the game today thought any other player in the world needed more more touches with Russ playing like that they don’t know much. He is just capable of things no one in the league can do..

That is the point though.

Russ is phenomenal. He is also not easy to play with for other top guys. George has done as well as anybody could I think.

That poster is way over the top but I have to say I feel this is the best Raptors teams over this recent span and I would argue that they are the best team in the East in general.

It's possible that they will sputter out but I doubt it. They may wind up losing to the Cavs again because of Lebron but do you really see any other team in the East beating them? Maybe the Celtics if they get fully healthy. Maybe.

Yeah I agree with this. Took me a while to come around but they seem legit....still don't trust Lowry though

Who knows about Lowry but Derozan has elevated his game this year.
