Rockets are for real. I was watching their small lineup yesterday when they went without Capela and it's dynamic. From an offensive stand point, it's much more potent than the Warriors because they have all 5 guys who are consistently good from 3. The Warriors have 3 elite guys and then hit or miss guys like Iguodala and Draymond.

Capela is such an advantage for them too. The Rockets were really designed just to beat the Warriors. In order for the Warriors to win, they're going to need to bring their A+ game every game on defense. I think they're capable of that, but it's going to be tough.
I agree that defense is going to be key for GS against Hou, which is why I like McGee in that starting line up.

Well it's more perimeter defense that is actually going to be needed against Houston. I could see Javale getting reduced time with possibly Jordan Bell and David West getting additional time. Houston goes small a ton and with the amount of shooters they have out there, the Warriors are going to need to guys who can defend out on the perimeter. That's not one of Javale's strengths. He'll be much more needed against a team like OKC, Minnesota or even the Blazers.

I agree that against Hou the guards will need to defend out on the perimeter, but my point about McGee is the leverage he creates as the last line of defense vs. Pachulia being out there.

Also, I wonder how much Bell will contribute once he's back from his ankle injury he suffered last night. Two gimpy ankles could be a problem for what they need from him most - perimeter defense.

Seemed pretty neat.
That little speck in the top right quadrant is for Minny...
I thought the Kings bench would be better offensively, the defense as a whole has sucked.

If Houston can hold on to that #1 seed that could be huge in a potential finals game 7.

Feel bad for the top 3 seed that will have to play the Spurs in round 1.

Spurs' Leonard: Pain fading, will return 'soon'
I saw this earlier and it made me so happy. Says he wants to end his career as a Spur, and there is no discord or whatever was reported between him and the team or Pop. As long as they make it in the Playoffs, and he's healthy, I am happy. Probably won't make it anywhere, but seeing him on the court will be a huge relief.

Oh this is great! I wonder what @ChiefsLakers67 thinks about this?:heh: Although I think w/ the roster the Lakers have right now I have a better chance of being the next governor of CO. than LeBron wearing the Purple 'n Gold next year.

LOL. I'm pretty sure that Houston doesn't need to be the #1 seed to have home court advantage in a potential NBA Finals Game 7.
