I hope they don't trade Foles to Cleveland, he deserves better.

Yeah, we'll need one now. Maybe in the 6th round if there is a pure stud Punter, but if not, then sign an undrafted one. Best of luck to Donnie Jones!

We had a guy we brought in to compete with Donnie this past training camp, didn't we? Maybe he has the inside track. I don't think I'd spend a draft pick on a punter.

Yes, undrafted rookie last year : Cameron Johnston. I recall some talk last off-season that he looked good and was pushing Donnie Jones.

My guess would be that they trade down. There are three spots they have to think long and hard about.

With Beau Allen likely to leave DT becomes a spot. With bradham potentially gone, hicks ongoing inability to stay on the field and kendrick big contract LB is a possibility as well. And TE. Celek can't go on forever (and his cap # is too big) and burton may get more elsewhere.

He was the punter for The Ohio State in college and is a Australian rugby player. Great punter and a solid tackler.

Nice - those rugby guys are tough. Would certainly seem to have the inside track at this point.

I read yesterday about some of the guys the Eagles were looking at from the Senior Bowl, or at least guys they talked to, and a few of them were OSU grads. Any insight on the following guys, what kind of players they were in college and what you think of them? I try to keep track of some of the teams and prospects, but since you are the resident OSU expert...

- Tyquan Lewis
- Jaylen Holmes
- Chris Worley

Of those 3, Worley would be nice addition if the Eagles don't resign Bradham atLB. Lewis and Holmes would be nice depth players on the DL. That being said, the real defensive Buckeye players will be declaring the following season. Bosa and Cooper just from the top of my head. Bosa will be drafted though in the top 5 easily, probably possible 1st overall pick. He is the real deal and probably even better than brother Joey.

Trade offer: the Eagles trade the pick + Nick Foles to the Cardinals for pick # 15 + 47 + 97.
Would you do it? I'm sure we would. Would Arizona? I think they would as well. It makes sense. Ariz. has no QB, and Nick would be going back to where he played in college. + he is from Texas, so he'd be going home.

I don't think there is a snowballs chance in hell that happens. Three picks in the top 100 for a 30 year old? Why would they do that for Foles when more than likely they could throw in a 2nd next year and trade up to 4(Using draft trade chart)? I think the best chance for him to land in Arizona is a draft day trade when Arizona is unable to get a QB in the first and we get possibly 47 and 97. That may be too rich as well. Maybe 2nd and 5th. Have to remember this is a saturated QB offseason unlike most years. A lot of options for QB needy teams.

I would do it. But that ain't happening.

I think he was saying 32+Foles for the three Cardinals picks, not Foles for 3 outright.

Ahhh yes, I misread that. But the same still applies. You could still throw in a second rounder later and possibly trade up to 4. Just a bit much realistically.

I love that the draft is in Dallas this year  makes me smile especially after the Dallas WR last year went so hard on the philly fans last year. I hope whoever announces our first pick really gives them hell.

Yes, I mean Foles +#32, for #15, 47 & 97. We then have a 2 and a 3, and Ariz still has their picks intact inevery round except the 2nd. Also, Ariz needs cap room, so they might throw in Honey Badger. Otherwise, they have to cut the Badger. I'm telling you, this deal is on the table. I have sources.

Using the draft value chart (fwiw), that puts Foles value right in the middle of the first round. Maybe that's about right...
