I like Jimmy Buffet as well and not the most popular tunes. Come Monday, Bama Breeze, Son of a Son of A Sailor, etc.

The motherfucker is worth over 700 million, so he must be doing something right.
We had a Cheeseburger In Paradise in Kalamazoo for a few months. Then overnight, it became a Goodwill.

I know neither of you change the station when Journey comes on.

Don't even try to lie about it.

I think Harrison improved the most as a solo artist. McCartney was a bit of a letdown. I felt like he was basically finished with what he had to say as an artist a few years after the Beatles broke up. I think Lennon had the best solo career, even if you don't count "Imagine", which I'm not a big fan of.

Yeah they lost me when they started doing Linda Perry ballads.. pretty much anything after Rocks and probably Toys In The Attic, tbh.

I have a soft spot for Night in the Ruts and Rock in a Hard Place. Of course I listened to those albums decades after they came out, so that probably has a lot to do with it.

Is that "original Paul"?

Or the one we all know as Paul?

I have a sleeveless jean jacket and finger-less leather gloves in my glovebox just in case they come on.

Billy Joel gets on my nerves more than most as well. A lot of that has to do with the Eagles station on SiriusXM becoming Billy Joel Radio.

Roy Acuff as a singer in the 30's/40's was pretty influential, especially on Hank Williams Sr, but as a record head, he ruined more careers than he helped.

Waylon and Willie kinda took him down a peg, and Jerry Lee Lewis's lone appearance on the Grand Ole Opry is one of the more underrated events in the history of music. They say Roy about had a heart attack when Jerry Lee became the first and to my knowledge, only performer to say the word "motherfucker" on stage into the microphone at the Opry.
