The thing with Elvis is it was more than just his singing, which was very good to be honest but he had what none of those others you mentioned had, incredible appeal with the young ladies, I guess Jerry Lee did but that's another thread entirely...

Jerry Lee was probably the wildest one of the bunch and somehow, he's outlived them all. His personal life aside, I do love his music.

I always liked them, but I understand why some don't ... they are different, but fng Neil Peart can just tear up a set of full drums. He & Bonham revolutionized the way that instrument was 'played', IMO.

Nobody doubts their talent, but they would have been better off as an instrumental band, or any singer other than Geddy Lee.

Also, I think Elvis was the worst of the Sun Records guys.

Love me some Jerry Lee Lewis, Carl Perkins, Johnny Cash and Roy Orbison. Elvis has always been pretty meh to me. I'm not a very religious guy, but honestly, I think Elvis's best work was his gospel songs.

Was? The song was before my time. It's still overplayed today. I have SiriusXM in my truck, so I can avoid most stuff I don't like, but on my machine at work, I'm stuck with the FM dial. Seems every time I tune it to the classic rock station, that song is on.

I have many friends that like this band but I just don't like them. The band is AC/DC and I've tried to understand why people like them but the singers voice annoys me.

What popular bands don't you like?

Most every damn 70s rock band s..........Way too many to name.

The Beattles. I'm probably in the minority here, but don't like them at all.
