And that's sad and shouldn't be happening.
Sad? I think it's funny as fuck. That's why I'm sitting over here, laughing all three balls clear off.

I guess we'll see. If you guys finish 3/4 in the B1G East again this year, what's the perspective gonna be then?
He didn’t have one of his recruits at QB. Had Hoke recruited better on the OLine we would have been better this year.I guess we'll see. If you guys finish 3/4 in the B1G East again this year, what's the perspective gonna be then?
That was actually funny. I like you Booger, you're all right.
Honestly, if we keep winning 9/10 games a year then we're fine when it comes to recruiting. We just can't have 8 win seasons.I guess we'll see. If you guys finish 3/4 in the B1G East again this year, what's the perspective gonna be then?
He is trying to get Patterson eligible and still wont if he can play. But this kid is good so maybe he will win with someone elses QBHe didn’t have one of his recruits at QB. Had Hoke recruited better on the OLine we would have been better this year.

So Hoke does not get credit for kids that played well during his tenure. He gets blame for the kids that play bad during his and Habes tenure. Does he get the blame for RR as well? There's no way that's true. His defenses were OK and his offenses were bad. The only time that wasn't the case is when Denard was just unleashed to do everything he could to get yards.
Maybe you misunderstood me. The last two years a huge complaint that Michigan fans had is how bad the OLine is, and have been blaming Hoke for how it has been getting worse with each year under Harbaugh. There's no way that's true. Not when it's a very obvious outlier in his career at Michigan and not part of an actual scheme. His approach was basically, "Hand Denard the ball and let him do whatever" -- that's an offensive scheme anyone with NCAA 2006 could come up with. Harbaugh immediately took us to levels that we were at prior to RR coming in.So Hoke does not get credit for kids that played well during his tenure. It is a product of those last 3 Hoke recruiting classes. Michigan's line consisted largely of Freshman and Sophomores. Harbaugh addressed the concern in recruiting but it's unreasonable to expect that many young lineman to play well this early on.Maybe you misunderstood me. What levels? How much better is Harbs wining % than Hokes? What big games did Harbs win that Hoke didnt? Not when it's a very obvious outlier in his career at Michigan and not part of an actual scheme. Well, he was given that excuse until they realized Hoke wasn’t taking them to the promised land. What levels? How much better is Harbs wining % than Hokes? What big games did Harbs win that Hoke didnt?
Hoke also had to deal with the RR recruits. He does not get the excuses for "not being his kids" like Harbs gets?
What did he get 3 seasons? Then it was going down hill. I see something similar now.Well, he was given that excuse until they realized Hoke wasn’t taking them to the promised land.
2 and a half then the bloom fell of the flower. What did he get 3 seasons? Then it was going down hill. I see something similar now.
If only he got the 4 years+ to get his own kids in like Harbs.2 and a half then the bloom fell of the flower.

I don't ever think we'll recruit "bad". People are pointing out our below average class but it's only below average to the standard we set the last couple years. It still ranks in the top 25, and top 3 in the B10.
I'm not happy with this class but I don't think it's going to become the normal under Harbaugh, even if he doesn't win the conference or beat OSU this year. Our 2019 class already has 3 top 100 players out of 4 commits, and that's 3 more top 100 players than we got this year. So I'm not especially concerned.
Keep winning a lot of games, putting kids in the NFL and the recruits will still come.
Your starting lineup for the Outback bowl had two seniors, one Junior, a sophomore and a freshman. Michigan State had a significantly better OLine with two freshmen, a sophomore, a junior, and a senior. We were younger on the line than you were and were much better in the trenches. It is reasonable to expect them not to be turnstiles. It is a product of those last 3 Hoke recruiting classes. Michigan's line consisted largely of Freshman and Sophomores.
