Some baby-step encouraging signs from the running game. One of you guys who has access to the all 22 can double check, but I swear that we ran at least a few times out of a 'jumbo' package with Tobin inserted as an extra O-lineman. We didn't tear it up or anything, but Lacy was getting positive yards at least, which is a BIG improvement.

In that second half, we were managing to run on 1st down and AGAIN, get positive yardage, putting us in 2nd and manageable, and opening up the playbook.

Someone could check these two, the replays in the game sucked. I swear Bennet wasn't offsides on either play, just timed the snap really well.

This team isn't likely going to go very far this year given the number of injuries. So let's fire all the coaches.

And I think the refs gifted us with that PI call in the endzone too. Letter of the law, probably was PI, but I've seen more egregious examples let go.

Yeah. I have to say I was really surprised that Bevell told Wilson to throw a pick to start the game and tell the receiving corps to drop 5 balls in the 1st half. That is really bad coaching.

Besides some positive yards on the run game, I'm more happy the penalties weren't up in the upper teens.

I think the issue is that it takes Russell a little while to get into the game..... Throughout his career - Russell has been pretty average during the first and third quarters, while being great in the 2nd and 4th.

That OPI on McKissic and the subsequent missed facemask on Lockett was pretty laughable. I think most retarded fourth graders would have gotten those calls correct, but that's just kind of where we are with officiating in the NFL.

I'd also agree that the second offside was wrong and that the refs threw an absolute garbage flag on Eric Reid (I think) for that "defenseless receiver" personal foul early in the game. Pretty embarrassing for the dildos in white and black.

I can at least understand why they threw that flag watching the play at full speed. But there were 4-5 badly blown calls this game that make you wonder if the officials were eating paint chips as a pre-game snack.

Lets say we go 10-6 and miss the playoffs, will anything change? I really doubt it. It will lead to excuses and rationalizing and nobody will get fired. Homers on this site will be perfectly happy with that
