I'll be positive........
We got the win and (can't confirm) the penalities seemed to have been lower than the season average.
How about the beating the Dline put on Beathard? That was good to see.

6/35

So, yeah - the penalties were under 10 for the first time in like 6 weeks.

Good win, now let's get ready for a message game next week, Philly is coming to our house with some momentum...
Seahawks are up against Goliath next week. Eagles been looking like the best team in the league thus far. Not getting my hopes up, because it looks like a steep hill to climb, but a win would be fantastic.

With our physical front 7 we can cause them some issues, obviously our secondary isn't what it once was, but I still think we can cause them some problems ... This will be the most physical front the Eagles have seen all year long... Our O has to play well though, which they're capable, with Russ we always have a shot...

Yeah, going to be very tough next week... Philly really doesn't have a weakness at the moment... They're offense is as balanced as it gets featuring Wentz, a very good OL, RB's, TE and WR's... Their defense is very good starting w/ their DL... That DL is going to pressure RW like there is no tomorrow... I hope he survives... All in all, going to be a very tough game to win... The matchups are not in our favor in this one...

Big underdog for sure, but you never know...image Wentz getting knocked out of the game early for example, a lot can happen and the Seahawks play everyone tough.

I agree.. Never going to count this team out of it... Like you said, they always put themselves in situations to win the game...

I don't know, but our DBs haven't been playing badly since Sherman and Kam went out. Less than 200 yards passing in each of the last 2 games isn't too bad. Both teams were top 15 in passing (Philly is 15th). I'm really hoping we can hold up on their run game - as that's what they are really good at. Gotta stop that and force Wentz to become one dimensional.

Backfield is going to need an A+ game against Weintz.

We at least will have Griffin back.. Doubt Kam will be back next week, if at all this season... If he is, it would be a miracle...

Surprised the Hawks haven't pursued Andre Ellington, Khiry Robinson or DeAngelo Williams... All 3 of those guys would be better options than Lacy...

This might be the shortest game thread that I've seen on this site.

Anyway, not the most entertaining game to watch, especially in the first half, but a win is a win. Getting a road win against a division opponent, even one as bad as San Francisco, is always tough and it would have been easy to overlook the Niners knowing who we play next week, but I think the Hawks clamped down in the second half and focused a bit more.

The next few weeks will be interesting. Going from playing a one win team to playing three consecutive winning teams (including two division leaders) will be a challenge and there won't be much room for error. The defense is gonna have to deal with three top-10 rushing teams (including the top-2 in the next two weeks) and the offense is gonna have to find a way to wake up before halftime so it's not all on the defense to keep them in the games until they do. The nice thing is that two of those games will be at home. I know that hasn't been the fortress we're used to the past couple of times out, but it's still preferable to play the better teams at home than on the road. It doesn't look like the Rams want to help the Seahawks climb into first place anytime soon, so the Hawks will have to take care of business themselves. Should be fun.

We're not out by any means... For example, New Orleans still has to play Atlanta (2xs), Panthers and Panthers still have to play NO and ATL... They're all 3 going to beat up on each other or one of them will end up going on a losing streak giving up that last WC spot... A lot can happen still... We need to go 2-1 over the next 3 games though to give us a great chance at the division or a WC spot...

Looks like RB, Mike Davis will also be back next week... I wonder which RB doesn't make the active roster next week between Lacy and Rawls... Surprised that Rawls didn't get one touch today... He could be the odd man out next weekend...

Our QB had an off 1st half and we had an abnormally high drop rate. Blame for the 1st half goes to them, not the coaches you normally bash.

Really hoping Carson get's back soon, he was definitely showing signs of being a legit back for us...
