Any of the Oregon fans interested in an AVI bet this week. Stanford is starting Chryst (who is OK but not as good as his backup) and missing two key defensive starters for the first half. That 11 point line seems suspect.
@Olyduck @OregonDucks @Duckfan22 @TheLonestarDUCK

Ah what the heck Buddha you're a good dude - I'll take the bait. One week AVI UO +11?

Actually spread is 10.5 let's go with that - its locked. Good luck PAC brother.
Please note this is the first time I have given points to anyone other than Wallace. Good luck sir. My folks will be at the game, I gave them the tickets. I will be at the UW and ND games later this year.

Bah, I never asked for points when I did avi bets with Mamba when the ducks were doubl

Yeah, I've never taken points even when it was with Mamba and the ducks were double digit favorites. Would feel dirty to have your team lose a game and still have the other fan wear your avi. I think I did give Wallace points one year though. Didn't have the heart to pick an avi for him though. He does a good job of self punishing. :laugh:

Who will be the next Oregon State Beavers football coach? A list of potential candidates

jonathan-smith-8c9b469b952c0b30.jpg

Ted S. Warren/AP

Jonathan Smith, Washington offensive coordinator

Former OSU quarterback Jonathan Smith is offensive coordinator and quarterbacks coach at Washington. He previously held assistant coaching positions with Boise State, Montana and Idaho, and was a graduate assistant at OSU. Smith is a popular name with fans given his history as quarterback for Oregon State's Fiesta Bowl win in 2001. He could generate excitement with alums frustrated by recent seasons and his pedigree helping develop Washington quarterback Jake Browning amid the Huskies' resurgence gives him legitimate credentials beyond a feel-good homecoming story.

Mike Norvell, Memphis head coach

Norvell went 8-5 in 2016, his first season as Tigers head coach, and his team is 4-1 so far this season. At 35 years old, Norvell is one of the youngest potential candidates out there. Yet he has experience in the conference after spending four years as the Arizona State offensive coordinator under Todd Graham. Norvell also earned an impressive 48-45 win over then-No. 25 UCLA early this season, one of many examples of his teams putting up points in bunches.

You just keep your god damn grubby mitts away from Jimmy Lake and we won't have no problems, Wallace.

So what OD is saying essentially is I don't have to watch one more game until the Apple Cup since the Pac 12 will fix every game for us? Sounds like he should go to Vegas with that inside scoop.

Jimmy Lake, Washington co-defensive coordinator

Lake, the co-defensive coordinator at Washington, also has coached defensive backs at Boise State, Montana State and Eastern Washington. He has NFL coaching experience with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers and the Detroit Lions. The UW defense has been central to the team's rise back to the national stage and Lake's specialty working with defensive backs quickly has given him an impressive résumé. Three Huskies defensive backs were taken in the second round of the 2017 NFL draft and Washington ranks seventh nationally in passing defense this season.

interesting...
