If you don't mind walking a couple blocks, parking is FREE for Packer games.

What's worse - no mass transit in Arlington. It's one reason I haven't been to a Cowboys game at the Death Star. The ridiculous ticket prices being the other.

I've been to 8-10 HS games there. Parking is free and tickets are $10. More in my wheelhouse.

gators had a tailgate at this bar called tailgate tavern next door to jerry world and the prices there before the game were as much as in the stadium. $9 cash only for beer wine and well. they probably made millions that day.

Yeah. The money I saved on tickets and parking went directly into the concession products. $30 for a beer, a coke (for the grandson), a dog and popcorn.

What I can't stand about the NFL

Expecting cities to pay for new stadiums. The league makes 9+ billion a year in profits.......just BUILD your own damned stadiums and make owners pay rent to pay it off!

No more public financing and then charging ridiculous prices for parking, concessions, etc.....

This is the reason only 7% of NFL fans attend actual games

Makes you appreciate the lower concession prices for Falcons home games.

NFL took in $13 billion in revenue last season — see how it stacks up against other pro sports leagues

Kroenke is at least paying for his own stadium though.

Inadequate because Kronkie had a dream and the NFL is corrupt.

The NFL changed the parameters the Rams had to meet in terms of local financial support after the proposal was given.

Shady things were done but I don't expect you to know or care - it would be cool if you didn't talk about what you don't know about though.

LOL. St Louis lured Frontiere into moving her team with terms St Louis could never hope to uphold using tax payer money. Kroenke returned his team to it's rightful home and is building a stadium with his own money.

You are wrong in each sentence.

  • Frontiere wanted out.
  • St. Louis upheld
  • That's not Kroenke's money

Rams should never have left Los Angeles.

Not even close to the same situation.

The Chargers had been getting denied for over a decade by the city.

St. Louis had a stadium plan when the Rams left.

The games won't be seen if they don't sellout.

Blackout rules much??

Blackout rules playing in the ancient Coliseum are going to be an issue regardless. The Coliseum has the NFL's biggest capacity at 93K+, and there are few amenities to help draw casual fans. That will change drastically when the new stadium opens in a few years.

Rams were 2nd in home attendance last year to only the Cowboys and their recent mega-stadium (who overdrew the posted capacity at AT&T on average), averaging 83K+ despite playing a home game in London (74K). Of course, attendance is poor early this year (and having two LA home games at the same time this weekend didn't help). I expect those numbers to improve as the season goes along.

Frontiere killed the franchise and only wanted $$$.

St Louis didn't uphold, or else the NFL wouldn't have moved the team.

Kroenke borrowed the money necessary to build the stadium. It's his money.

Rams average home attendance in St Louis:
2015: 52402 - dead last
2014: 57018 - ahead of only the Raiders and restricted Vikings (playing in a small temporary college stadium)
2013: 56947 - ahead of only the Raiders
2012: 56703 - ahead of only the Raiders and Bucs
2011: 56394 - ahead of only the Bengals
2010: 52922 - ahead of only the Raiders and Bucs

Rams haven't topped 60K per game since 2007.

It would be funny if it wasn't so sad as a Rams fan.

I'm not sure they are applying the blackout rules to the temp sites. They shouldn't.

The Rams may have sold a lot of home tickets but they didn't do well in actual attendance.

Hahaha Kroenke isn't only about $$$

HE didn't borrow anything. It's his wife's money who got it from her daddy.

Deservedly so.
