Again, not at all. I'll give you that I personally think the average star rank is important because no all teams have equal class sizes and especially small classes are ranked poorly because they don't hit the 20 recruit cap; despite only having 10-19 spots to fill.

But in terms of projecting a class rank, it really doesn't mean much at any point because at the end it only ranks the top 20 recruits.

Correct. The kicker is 1/11 of the ranking today. He is likely to be 0/20 of the final ranking and no more than 1/20. His value is dragging the overall ranking lower. Perhaps it would help to say he has a negative WAR (wins above replacement) or in this case a negative RAR (ranking above replacement)

Funny. You can't crush Texas's dream this year. Everyone expects OU to beat Texas, roll the Big 12, and be a contender for the playoffs. Now if OU loses to a team with 10 wins the last 2 season, then dreams will be crushed.

So this is pretty funny. Ohio state was going a camp down here with Zona and Texas Southern. Herman put some pressure on and Texas was invited late. He brought 8 coaches. Word is they went to babysit Urban.

This is what might cost you Tatum and Perkins......the fact that most of us think the DC is toast. I'm pretty sure they'll hear that from opposing coaches on the recruiting trail as well.

I think they're mostly taking. A wait and see attitude. Perkins has previously said he may not commit till signing day.

They'll both be in Austin next week. I doubt either waits till signing day. My guess is end of summer at the latest they'll both make a strong commitment one way or the other. Right now my money's on Texas naturally, but I have good reasons to think so.
