Any yet the Patriots were on the verge of winning that game despite that magnificent effort by the Giants D. Somewhat impressive by the Pats.

The Giants would have felt like the Falcons probably feel today.

But it didn't happen. It's part of the rich tapestry of NFL history now.. ;) ;)

Patriots defense was almost as great as the Giants in those Super Bowls

Unfortunately they couldnt get the same quality QB play :suds:

I know, I know but 1 yard to go with the Superbowl on the line with beast mode turned up to 11

I'm glad they passed.

Sure in hindsight, you're REALLY glad. But (broken record I know), even some NE fans don't give Butler and Browner the props they deserve on that play. The only two guys in the stadium to diagnose that play, and then follow it up with stopping it.

Whiny Pats fans have forever lost the privilege of whining over "miracle catches" after that horrific pass that should have been intercepted by even Former Falcons, won the Pats a SB

The End
Signed ~David Tyree~
What does Dirt and Tyree have in common? Niether has caught another pass in the NFL.

BTW what's ur quota of bs icons so I can plan accordingly. Not sure why you started the morning out giving me one. But hey we don't expect much from you.

Not in hindsight

Everyone in America thought Carroll was a dumbass on that play, as soon as Lynch was set in motion

Especially after Lynch just rumbled easily for about 9 yards on the previous carry

Brady is notorious for being a whiner on the field, endless defensive players have said so

But I cant say I remember a particular interview reflecting it
There have also been players who praise Brady's on field actions.
What QB doesn't look for flags? Only WRs look for them more.

Absolutely, positively. A beautifully defended play by both Browner and Butler. .*MAGIC*

A split second difference anywhere and Seattle would have scored.

Yes that's true. That's 1 more than Joe Namath 1 Superbowl win. (See I gave Eli Credit)

Without those wins, he's not in the HOF imo. Either of em.

I dont believe he deserves to be in the HOF, but he will be there

He will land somewhere in the Top 5 all time passing yards and TD's and has 2 rings

Giants are stacked this season, and my biggest concern is him

I can't for the simple fact it's not public knowledge. But to sit there and think another player hasn't called another player in practice is crazy. There grown ass men that want to win at all costs, and to think they just go out there and are "PC" all the time is wrong.......

You know what Doom I have read something else where a defensive player called out an offensive player,
it was either Singletary or LT, I'll research this weekend. It was in one of their books....
Sure leaders call out players all the time. However the tone and delivery is the difference. It's like saying someon'e mother isn't pretty versus saying she's a f#$&ing beast.

Surprised to hear that from a Giants fan.

He fluctuates from good to stinker too often.

I was visiting relatives in NY and watched games of the Giants in 2007 that were so bad that the discussion was on how soon Eli was going to be replaced. Coughlin too.

Yup, that buzz about both was always lingering until they won that first one

And youre right, too much fluctuation in his play........They have huge expectations this season, if he is the reason they dissapoint, id say its 50/50 he is the starter to begin the 2018 season
