1. His inconsistent play, which was excerbated by such results in the 4th quarter. He just too often blew opportunities to finish games down the stretch.
2. It could not have been a worse year, market-wise, to have traded him, being it was saturated with QBs thru free agency, team cuts, and the upcoming draft. The supply far and away exceeded the demand for his services.

Fields is going to have to walk the same path Baker just did. We will see how he does in Pittsburgh or if Pittsburgh was just taking a flyer on him to see if they flip him later for a better return on a rental.

Someone will inevitably get injured and Justin will be first man up if he's not starting in Pittsburgh.
