Me either. It's almost as if they see him as a #4 and nothing else. I guess Jerry is looking after his fellow Arkansas alum and paying him accordingly.

There is no doubt McFadden has been inactive for this very reason.
He won't get Zeke carries, but he'll get the bulk of them.

I'd bet if Zeke wasn't facing suspension DM or Morris would have been a preseason trade or cut. My guess is Morris wouldn't be a Cowboy.

I see your point but I don't think they produce like Zeke. If that was the case they would be getting more carries in the season to rest Zeke. An NFL RB takes a pounding if you can give the best in the NFL some repeated rest it makes a difference.

Zeke is a complete NFL RB. He can do it all...Run....catch...pass protect. He is the best and he is on the field you still really have problems on figuring out how to stop the Cowboys because the entire playbook is open. He is good in every single situation. The Cowboys are now going to go to RBBC which may help defenses figure personnel easier than if Zeke was on the field.

I am just not excited to see Morris as the starter. You just don't replace an elite player like zeke. Do we see lots of two TE sets? Do we see Switzer getting more 3rd down carries?

I don't think anybody thought he would beat the suspension, but to say that the NFL has something on him is a stretch given their own lead investigator recommended no suspension. Goodell just DECIDED it was good for the league to appear tough on DV regardless of whether or not any occurred. Elliot just happened to be the huckleberry he was looking for

Actually from what I have read a lot of Cowboy fans have stated multiple times that they didn't think he will serve 6 games.
