i think we're a better team then laa, but i definitely wouldnt count them out. They have no sense of pitching whatsoever which will hold them back though

Angels have had a great offense the last two years, but their relief pitching is shit and their starting pitching is just average. That loses you a lot of games.

Until both Sosh and Dipoto are gone that team isn't going anywhere. They are like the Cowboys. Just good enough to be in the middle of things and still be mediocre.

I beg to differ. Oakland is 15-10 and would have over 20 wins if not for the blown saves. Thank you Jim Johnson.

but they don't have 20 wins...it doesn't matter why

The Angels could still threaten, especially if Hamilton heals and remembers how to make contact
but as Romeo said, pitching still suspect

LAA still doesn't have the starting pitching or BP arms to really make a run at the division I don't think. Parker and Griffin going down and their BP being an issue will hurt Oakland this year. Like you say if the Oakland hitters realize they have gotten lucky and that they really suck it could be a year for Texas to take back the division
We play them later this week for the first time.

I don't know why Rios didn't score on that double, but that was a poor AB by Cheerios.

Mariners messed up could have challenged, Rios was out
I could care less, it was too close to overturn (technically)

so it doesn't really matter assuming NY makes the correct call

Good at-bat by Mitch Moreland, who doubles to right. Good stamina by Alex Rios, who was put in motion four times on 3-2 before hit.
