Best record in the AL and 3rd best record in baseball! To say that's outstanding considering the unbelievable amount of injuries they've had to account for is an understatement to say the least. Get Harrison back, then get Scheppers back and slide him back into the bullpen, then finally get Profar, Soto, and Holland back and this team is going to be really, really hard to stop.

Yeah, it will be nice. I am not expecting to much coming out of the gate but Glad he can start the process of finding his groove vs MLB hitters again. I am hope after 3-4 starts he will be back to the 2012 Harry will all remember. That still is pushing it though.

No one should be surprised that Colby kept us in the game

a lot good signs all around tonight
Sure am surprised at King Felix, though. Kinda gave us this game. He was rattled. Not even talking back at Beltre.

this is the first year in recent memory where this team is winning game after game, but they're hardly hitting any home runs.

Very Giants-esque

He struggles against us. You could tell tonight it's starting to get to him.

Just the way he is, you guys are reading too much into it.

As far trading him, whatever is best, we've got a whole season to go

Agree Lainey. Not sure what the right word is but Rios has a very controlled style in what he does. He may be the closest I have seen in trying to have a specific mechanics to his swing much like A-Rod does. And he runs the same way. Very controlled so it comes across as someone not having a sense of urgency. I am not going to nitpick Rios. I think he has done a good job for us overall since he has been here.

Couldn't help but laugh about Doolittle's pitching line for the A's last night. He went Cotts.

This from the DMN today:

The Rangers are likely to give Choo at least until they get back to Texas and warmer weather to make a call on him. Since they can back-date a disabled list assignment as far back as 10 days, they could place him on the DL early in the week and not lose “credit” for any of the time he’s already missed.
In short, the Rangers believe having Choo for five or six days out of a 15-day period is more valuable than having a full bench for all of it.

Didn't see the last few innings of the game. Was Cotts throwing more fastballs this time?

Actually don't think so. It almost looked like he was so thrilled with having such an immediate opportunity to redeem himself that he wore his game face from pitch one. Really focused and had good movement.

Nice to see. And I'll give Wash some credit here. He put the guy back on the horse and he responded fantastically.

Heck of a win for us. And I believe this is the 7th time in a row King Felix hasn't beaten us.

2nd lowest HR total in the AL at 14. I saw that last night. I like to look at where we are in team ERA and saw that total. Only KC has fewer HR's, which is also hard to believe.

I heard this guy on the Fan awhile back and thought he was hilarious. He's a stand-up comedian, and whether you like rap or not, this is pretty cool.

Agree-made a statement at the end of the Oakland series that this team reminds me a little of the 2010 Giants. Different players making contributions at opportune times.
