and like the other day when they kept showing the jose canseco ball bounce off head for a homerun thing. Like, I mean it was funny the first time, but I'm trying to watch a damn game. TAG was like "Its even funnier now, show it again 16 more times!"

This martin guy, is he the best OL that we've drafted in the past 20 years?

No. Tyron is a Pro Bowler already and some consider him the best LT in the game. Martin will step in immediately though at RT. We now have a strong O line. It was pretty good last year and just got even better.

Larry Allen was in 1994, that counts as in the last 20 years?

Let's get Ralph and Razor to do DFW sports games year round. That would push us to the top 5 in announcers in both baseball and hockey.

That would be nice..... I don't like the Mavs broadcast team either.

From the DMN today:

ARLINGTON – Reliever Justin Germano became the 38th player to appear on the Texas Rangers roster this year when his contract was purchased from Triple-A Round Rock Thursday.

And whether he appears in one game or 50 the rest of the way, his return is one of the best stories of the 2014 season.

On the first day of spring training, Germano had a cancer scare show up on a physical exam. He left camp midway through to have the growth removed, returned 10 days later and wasn’t cleared to return to pitching until the final day the Rangers were in Arizona.

“It was the most stressful camp I’ve ever had,” Germano said Thursday. “It was literally on my mind from the first day of camp until the last. Plus, I was trying to showcase myself or make the roster. Anytime you are in the big leagues, you feel blessed. When you do it with everything else I had going on, it’s an extra blessing. I am just going to sit back and enjoy the ride.”

Germano, 32, made one major league appearance last year with Toronto, but spent most of the season in the minors. The Rangers signed him as a minor league free agent.

The Rangers purchased his contract and designated RHP Scott Baker for assignment on Thursday. Baker pitched very well in long relief of Colby Lewis on Tuesday, going 5.1 innings and allowing a pair of runs. But he threw 79 pitches and was going to be unavailable for several days.

Because their bullpen is struggling and reliever Alexi Ogando is the most-used pitcher in the AL, and because of possible internal options for a starting pitcher (should they need one), the Rangers felt they had no other options.

The Rangers have 10 days to trade or release Baker. He has indicated to the team, however, that if he clears outright waivers he would return to Triple-A Round Rock.

“We talked about him at the end of spring,” general manager Jon Daniels said of Odor. “But we wanted to let him go down and get off to a hot start. We felt like bringing both of them up at the same time will maybe take some pressure of each one of them. And we think we have a chance for more offense at second base."

Yes him too. I think when all is said and done Tyron will be in that conversation with Larry. My point really was that he's not even the best we've drafted in the last 4 years. He is good though. Adding him w/ Frederick, Tyron, Free, and possibly Leary is a damn good line. I'm sure Murray is excited.

He should be. The OFL don't make TD's but they damn sure win football games.
