Chirinos has never caught Hamels, and only returned last week. I don't think it's superstition. I don't want to pitch to a go who's never caught me before in the playoffs.

I meant in general. Not necessarily in every case. There is a good amount of superstition in baseball on both the part of some of the players and some fans.

However, I do have the feeling if Gimenez got hurt and Chirinos had to start that Hamels would do just fine.
