Seriously, before every at bat I was taught to do a check list of the situation. Take stock of base runners, outs, etc and run through possible scenarios and how I would respond. If Mitch had done that he'd have known Prince was not gonna try to score on that ground ball because he's not fast enough and watched Prince's response to the grounder.

The whole thing was just dumb.
